Dear Seniors,

I need your help. Thank you in advance.
My app. was received on Dec.23rd, and I got PER on March 14.
However, my ECAS is still not alive till now.
I tried all the numbers, like UCI, FN, even payment receipt number.
Also, I checked all the information input, like name, DOB etc.
Is this normal? Do I need worry about this?
I called CIC today, but cannot get them.
Thank you!!!

It is OK. There is a certain lag for e-CAS to start showing your info. May take a week or a bit longer.

What about if they sent a refusal at later stage since i can see some refusal cases after medical on this forum , will that fee be refunded back to credit card?

You don't need a request to pay RPRF. Pay it, and them the receipt by email. Easy is that.

Yes, unlike cost recovery fee RPRF can be refunded at any stage.

Quebec Skilled Worker Program has new area of training this year. French is not compulsory, you can cover it with points from your education, your children! Good luck! I think it's time for Quebec to return to our choice like in 2011

It's not Quebec PNP. It's Quebec Skilled Worker, a different program altogether.

You can get more info here: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/EN/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/requirements-programs/index.html

It's not mandatory, but you loose a lot of points without it, so you may not qualify.

Hi All,

With thanks for all the help so far I would like to inform you that my status is showing as Medicals Received. They had also taken the payments (RPRF?) about 3 weeks ago.

Any one from those who have gone before me know what to expect next and how soon?

(Husband and I applied from Dallas in the US and our processing center is Ottawa).

Thanks all!
