Actually, it is not mentioned to attached the visa and seal for travel in anywhere and it is also not mentioned you should not attached these information as well.

I agree. There is no harm in attaching extra pages of passport which has entry - exit stamp.

Based on the application that was returned to me, it seems that CIC first does an overall check for completeness and meeting all requirements, points, NOC And supporting documents.

All applications have been reviewed, there are check marks on everything. So if your credit card got charged it means you are approved. You meet the points and all documents are complete. At a later time they will continue to verify documents and send to your responsible visa office.

Even when cap was full for a case last year they went through the complete documents and it had tick marks all along the document. They noted the number of year of education, whether application was by the applicant directly or via a representative and a few other things. They also punched a hole through the documents. I think they might have gone through the entire document because it was a borderline case i.e. it was received on the very date which was the last date for acceptance for that particular category (just a few selective candidates got PER from that date), and therefore CIC might be keeping a few extra applications checked just in case needed.

CIC's job is quite cumbersome though. I can imagine a complete building/ warehouse/ office floor full of documents at their disposal this year considering 25K applications are going to be accepted. I wouldn't be surprised if some of their agents are also keeping a tab of threads here, but hopefully not.

Dude don't waste ur time calling the WES. You will either have to wait long or will get robotic response from the customer service agent. I myself had a very horrible experiance, until I shot a stinker mail to their director and got things done in a days time.

Aah okay, in that case I am a 2 year veteran now LOL and trying the 3rd time. Was late on previous occasions.

I wasn't counting that. If we missed the boat last time that opportunity is gone, so wasn't counting those times. But got it, thanks! LOL I like to think every year a new story is scripted here..

Guys today police verification happened at home. They have called us to police station on 10th june...said within 7 days after dat our file will go to CID. From thr it will go to passport seva kendra. And then passport seva kendra will send a sms to us. Dat is when we need to visit passport seva kendra and get our PCC. Phsshhhh. ... :

My understanding based on review of Ministrial instructions and other stuff is that that caps are not exactly 1000. All the applications that reach on the day that cap of 1,000 (or whtever is for that particular year) is reached are accepted. So lets say, 999 complete applications for a particular NOC are received till 30th June then all the applications received on 1st July are considered within the cap.

However, this might be on time of receiving as well i.e. all the applications of that NOC received on 1st July's first courier will be considered in the cap (i.e. based on time stamp rather than the date).

P.S: I know i may be wrong; so just refute/agree if you have some solid info i.e. either some example from previous years or text from ministerial instruction.

The part of ministerial instruction i am referring to is

"In calculating the caps, applications will be considered in order of the date they are received. Applications received on the same date will be considered for processing having regard to routine office procedures."

The date it was sent was May 26, application received by them May 5th (morning)

Wat you said may not be completely true. Before sending PER, they just verify the minimum requirements i.e. 1 year of full-time work experience (complete evaluation), ECA report and IELTS score (If scores are equal or greater than minimum specified). If these criteria are met, they will send PER and then further review all work experience and calculate points before forwarding the file over to local VO.

So the point is dont jump to a conclusion that points were evaluated before sending PER.

Generally word to word responsibilities are rejected because of "plagiarism", which is a big no no in Canada and western world. So, if it is deemed by the VO as copying from NOC work (as they have not given you the rights to reproduce the text" then the person is in trouble). Otherwise, if its considered as original work based on NOC guidelines, it is acceptable, no matter how similar it is.

Hi All,

I need help from all experts out there

A. I got my IELTS score card yesterday
L : 7.5
R: 7
W: 7
S: 6.5
Over All: 7
How many points will I get with this score? And I got only one copy of score card. Do I need to provide that only copy of my score card to CIC ?
What if I need it next time. I gave my exam through IDP.

B. I got an email from WES for EVALUATION COMPLETED NOTIFICATION - Reference #. But when I login to their it asks me to select and add any additional copies of reports needed .
Additional Reports reports : ($30 per report )
Also for International Courier (CDN. $85).
Do I need to again make the payments for reports ?

C. I have 6.5 yrs of total experience. But I am not able to reference letters from both my Current as well as previous companies. They have sent me an email that they will not write Roles and Responsibilities on company letter head .
They have provided me with letter about my salary breakup and time period I have been working in their company.
What should I do for this ??
