Yes, SPVO is nothing short of amazing. I'm not on the facebook group - can't join - but I am on the Brazilian SS as idefix .

Just got my PPR today as well! Our VO is so amazingly fast, eh?
I've paid the fee and sent the passports already after 3 lines at banks + mail office, but it's worth it.

Congrats Vijay! Min. 6 months passport validity is required for Visa Stamping! and New passport may take time. So please write to NDVO explaining the same and seeking more time.

Finally after very long time my e-CAS is updated with 3rd line. I underwent medical on 29th October, 2014 and 3rd line updated today on 3rd March. One of the most complicated timeline after medical examination. I waited for 126 days that is more then 4 months for 3rd line after medical examination. Very happy today!!

That's indeed a long wait.... Enjoy the moment and good luck for further processing....

Good Morning!!

Sharing my experience of VFS Global - Abu Dhabi

First let me share that I received PPR from NEW DELHI & they asked for passports to be submitted to NEW DELHI


I went to VFS - Abu Dhabi yesterday.... after looking at the documents they were confused...then they took my documents inside ( I guess they called someone in the abu dhabi Visa office to confirm) & then they said that they can take my passports for visa stamping. I was charged AED 70.75 per passport for Passport transmission services & AED 16 as courier charges per passport...

I submitted the passports there at abu dhabi. Till they stamp visa & send me I will be in a fix... as the passports were supposed to be sent to New Delhi

If everything goes good ... hope this can be helpful to many others as plenty of us have NDVO as our Visa office & residing in other country.

I have one more query... I will wind up from UAE ...will go India & stay for sometime with family & then will board plane from India to Canada...If my visa is issued from Abu Dhabi will there be any problem as visa is stamped from Abu Dhabi & port of entry will be India .. just a thought though.

DD Encashed = 2 Oct 2014

Yesterday night I have called to cic , the said that they have tried to send PER mail to my email but it got return back so they have send through snail mail, one more point here then somebody told that he has also has the same experience last week to reconfirm it he called again at that time they said they do not have any information like that (is this kind could happen customer care ppm lying) , so after hearing this I called them again then again one lady said she doesn't know why they haven't send any acknowledge yet as its first review was fine on dec8th, then I tweaked like some agent told me that they send mail in snail mail around a week back (actually they send 2nd march) and I just want to know when.. then she replied same as the first call...

1)How many days does it take reach India in snail mail?

2)Do customer care ppl lie for the sake to get rid of call?(Any one has experience)

Update on my application:
NOC - 1212, application date - Dec18, Payment mode - DD.......
I checked with my bank and as off Mar 3rd my DD has still not been encashed. Don't know what to make of this??? Is this NOC very slow that's causing DD encashments to take more than the normal time??? Or is there a good chance that my application has been returned for some reason or the other????
Any advise from anyone will be highly appreciated.....
