Lots of people got today the Home Address, from ND, SP... several VOs.

It doesn't mean anything I'm afraid... Or nothing that we know for now.

Nothing to worry about as most of the applicants got that update on ECAS (including those who also applied for PR under another category).

PLease advise guys.... also I had missed out on filling up Visa Office, though that field was not marked with * was it not important, not sure.

That doesn't mean it will lead to NER. Mentioning email id has nothing to do with your eligibility. All that's going to happen is you will receive all communication by post instead of email. Wait or 2-3 weeks as CIC rep. said and that add you email id to your application for future correspondence.

Finally after very long time my e-CAS is updated with 3rd line. I underwent medical on 29th October, 2014 and 3rd line updated today on 3rd March. One of the most complicated timeline after medical examination. I waited for 126 days that is more then 4 months for 3rd line after medical examination. Very happy today!!

Seniors advice please !!

Experts advice needed !!!!

I applied under FSW2014. Couple of days back I received PER email. However, there was no acknowledgment for the Visa office, that has been allocated to my application. I called CIC and they told me that its Abu Dhabi visa office (may be because I applied from Middle east). Whereas as per my nationality it should be London visa office. The lady at CIC told me that this is what is displaying on her system. Furthermore, If I go to the official website of Abu Dhabi visa office , it clearly says that

" Responsible for Permanent Resident Applications from:
(Includes Self-employed, Start-up visa, Quebec-selected skilled worker, PNP and family sponsorship)

Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen

NOTE: For all federal economic immigration, see London "

Furthermore, I was going through the old posts ... Many applicants who were assigned Abu Dhabi visa office ... were irritated with the long and tiring processing times taken by Abu Dhabi visa office people ... I am also a bit worried due to this factor ... Please advice me that:

1) Should I call CIC and ask them to change my visa office as per my nationality i.e. London VO ( as the lady on the call told me that my application has not yet transferred to Abu Dhabi visa office) OR Should I leave my case as it is ? ? ?


Please also advice , if there are people in the forum who gone through the same phase with the Abu Dhabi visa office and found it normal ?

Note: When I applied, In the updated form i.e. Generic form ... the option for selecting the visa office was not present , so I had no option to write the Visa office by myself !

Nothing to worry. Some time to reduce work load of another VO they transfer file to other VO with less work load.

Please note that CIC wont change your VO as per your request. Only Immigration Officer has authority to do that and that to for some purpose.

Yes, Sao Paulo Visa Office is just the best visa office on the Planet! I'll take my PP tomorrow by hand, usually we get it back within a week! 4 months and 10 days is unbelievably fast for a PR!
