Congrats to everyone who have made it through, and to those who are inching close.

My story for the time being has been brought to an end, Journey so far goes as follows:

First Application:
1st July 2014 Rcvd at CIO.
Returned on 26th Sept 2014 Due to Stale dated DD (ICICI bank stamped it for 3 month validity by mistake).
Received back on 11Th Nov 2014.

Second Appllication:
24th Nov 2014 Recvd at CIO.
CC got charged on 20Th JAn 2015.
Ecas started showing 1st line on 2nd Feb 2015.
Then
Ecas removed by cio on 15th Feb.

Called CIC agent on 24th Feb 2015 seeking status of application as NO PER recvd. Agent told me that my application is still under review and only thing I can do at this point if time is WAIT. Then I inquired regarding ecas unavailability, she asked me to raise CSE at Technical difficulties desk.
Sent CSE on 24th FEB 2015,
Received reply on 27TH Feb 2015, stating my application has been returned on 13Th Feb 2015.
Chapter Closed. on Temporary basis now.

Will be waiting the returned package, to see whats the reason behind.

With Grace of God ...............I got my PPR on 26 FEB 2015, today I submitted my passport to VFS office, hopefully I will receive at earliest.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Just a update, I got PPR today ,
My Application is for 2174, submitted on May 14 th , Medicals on Dec 12, PPR on Feb 27.

I have a question now how long will New delhi office take to return passport with Visa and also how can I submit my Passport to NDVO , is it only with VFS office? Normally if you send it by VFS, it is around 7-10 working days. If you send by courier, add another 5 - 7 days for delivery through speed post. You will have 2 options VFS or Courier. VFS is good for submission and collection. If you send by courier to NDVO, They will return the PP through speed post

Very happy to inform that we received MR and RPRF today.

Can someone please help me on below queries.

1) Received two emails, first email has an attachemnt which says submit both RPRF and MR in 60 days. In the second email they have asked to submit everything in 30 days but the attachment in second email says RPRF in 30 days and MR in 60 days. I am confused. Even if I consider the second email as the latest, the email body and the attahment confilct with respect to due date for MR submission. My wife is suffering with fever, cold and cough for last few days and I would like to push medicals as late as possible. What is the usual timeline for medicals to be completed? MR can be submitted within the time frame as mentioned in the email. RPRF and MR have different timelines

2)I had submitted PCC for India for both myself and wife along with the application. I was working in UK contineously for 7 months in 2013 which I had mentioned in the application. My wife was there with me in UK for 5 months. I was expecting NDVO to request for UK PCC, if not for both, atleast for me. But they have not requested PCC from UK. Should I ask NDVO or happily assume that they do not want it? If they have not asked for it. You do not have to send it

Hi All,

I got my MR and RPRF requests emails today. As couple of other memebers reported I too got three emails - One general instructions to pay fee and get medicals done other two are for the medical forms for me and my spouse. I have been given 30 days to complete them and send them receipts.

What would be the best method to send the requested documents to NDVO as I am planning to pay by CC and send them the receipt. Courier them to NDVO

In any province, you will have to complete licensing course (CSC or IFSC)....only then there are chances....I would suggest Alberta (Edmonton) for bankers as there are more vacancies and lesser people. Ontario is crowded with lots of Canadian experienced unemployed people in the banking industry.

How do We send the Passport to new delhi, and which address? 2 Options

• Courier to 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
  New Delhi 110 021, India. They will return the Stamped Passports along with COPR through speed post
• VFS - http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html . This is the safest transmission method.

I am in bangalore, any offices in bangalore where I can go and submit directly and collect it in person? Refer to http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html

Friends,

I just paid my RPRF. Please help me with below questions -

- What should be written as client ID on the RPRF receipt? UCI Number

- Also, how much should be the RPRF for two people (Principal applicant and spouse. Dependent child waived off) ? I read some people said it was above 50k INR. Mine came below, so curious.. Buddy if you are paying through DD, It is Rs.53400 (irrespective of changes in Dollar value). However, If you are paying through online, You will see the difference due to the drop CAD value. The current CAD value is Rs.49.29 for 1 Canadian Dollar.

DO I HAVE TO SUBBMIT THE OLD PASSPORTS ALSO ALONG WITH THE FRESH ONE .... MY OLD PASSPORT EXPIRED IN 2013... Do not have to submit the old passports. Submit only the new ones

Post PPR, when submitting Passport and Photos, what should be the photo type, MATT finish or Glossy?

Contact a Commercial Photographer and inform that you need Canadian immigration \ visa photos. they will take care of the rest.

The two photos must:
4 be taken by a commercial photographer.
4 be original and not altered in any way or taken from an existing photo.
4 show a full front view of the person’s head and shoulders showing full face centered in the
middle of the photograph.
4 have a plain white background.
4 measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown.
4 have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8” x 1 3/4”) finished size.
