It depends how you applied. If you applied through the occupation stream of FSW then you need to show POF for your application to be approved. If you applied through the arranged employment offer stream then no POF is required.

Just received an update from WES today. The status is now saying ""Evaluation in progress" with estimated conclusion on July 02!!!!!!!!!

My docs reached Maple on May 26th, status changed just this monday (7 days after arrival). It will be more then 30 DAYS besides shipping!!!! Starting to be afraid!!!!! NOC 2171

For those who don´t have ECA yet....may consider Toronto University Assessment services .....and hurry up!!!!

What if you ask for your BC in English to the authority..? My BC was also in local language (Gujarati).. I asked for the English certi and i got it..

I am currently here in Canada and working on a work permit.
I applied in FSWP 2014 and got my CC charged already.

Just a question and clarification on the proof of funds.
I just showed CIC that I have $5,000 (combination of my and hubby's savings in bank)
It is okay right?

Because I read that there is no need for me to show the $14,000 POF (for the 2 of us) since I am already here in Canada with work permit authorized by CIC. I just want to clear my mind if my understanding is correct.

Hi dear! I don't think you need to show some funds since you are employed in Canada. Here is a quote from the instruction guide:

Note: Persons with arranged employment in Canada who are already authorized to work in Canada on a work permit do not have to meet the minimum funds requirement.

You will see the report once the status changes to Completed.

Hi seniors

I have been thinking sending another Economic form to replace.
On the columns of the main duties (Economic Form Q.12b), we have only wrote " please refer to the attachment" by meaning of looking for the reference letters we have attached instead.
Would It be alright?
Or you would recommend to send a replacement? Our parcel reached at the CIC office on the 21st of May. It's gonna take a while to get access.
Would it be wise to send a replacement at this time? or you think we could get away with it since the work experience letters are attached?

Hey dont loose hopes.. Keep hope .. U will be in cap.. Just concentrate on ielts to get good score. Just apply as soon as u have ielts score.

But you also said your application has not been returned yet.
How did you know in advance .did cic send you a mail.or did you call cic for your status?

I have questions for you.
In above case he knows that his application will be returned.
But if some one knows that he made a mistake as soon as the document reach cic ,and he is confident that his application will be returned then does he have to wait until the document is returned or can he reapply on same NOC instantly.

Here is how I got my additional TRF of IELTS.

I had applied for IELTS exam through IDP education India and I do not know if the same would work for those taking the exam from British Council. I took a print out of the form on the IDP website for requesting additional TRF and filled in all the details. I ensured that the mailing address was mine and not any other agency. I visited the IDP office on St. Marks Rd - Bangalore, handed over the form to the receptionist, paid 1250 Rs and I was told that I would get the results in two weeks. I applied on 22nd and I got the additional TRF yesterday.

Hope this is helpful for others trying to get an additional copy of IELTS!!!
