Dear Friends, I am currently in UK and my family in India, I've received my PPR in NDVO. I've sent my passport via my colleague from UK to India with an authorization letter to cross the border.

I am planning to transmit the passport via VFS tomorrow, as suggested I have give a authorization letter to my wife to submit/collect the passport for om VFS office. My question is should I need to submit a letter to New Delhi, High commission that I am not in India and I authorize my wife to submit/collect and cross the border. Please suggest.

Process started on 12.02.2015.

Generally MR request comes within 15 days of 2nd line update. Is it so? Seniors please confirm.

Hello Seniors.

I am confused and please help me with your findings :

My timelines :

Application date : 2nd Sept 2014
PER : 22nd Dec 2014.
Waiting for 2nd line update and MR/PCC/RPRF.

Concern : I have changed my job in November and I have all documents supporting for that. I applied through consultant who is having 21 yrs of experience in immigration. they are saying that we will not send any updates to CHC until or unless we receive your exact local VISA post. Huh Huh Huh Huh What should I do.

In case of Verification with my employer, what will happen then ? Consultant said you will get mail from CHC in case of verification from your previous employer and they got confirmation that you have resigned from it. I am confused what to do and also nowadays NDVO is sending MR directly without AOR. Might be a chance of verification.

*********Finally got stamped passport**********

Want to tell you guys my experience of the process.

Before completing each step i thought that wait for the next will be more relaxing. However, it is completely opposite.
Most difficulty was the four days wait from passport submitted to passport received back.......lol.........

I can only suggest to stay calm with each completing step, i know you can not.........hahaha.......

congrats! I also find it difficult to wait. It doesn't get any easier just because we are closer.

Titans, it doesn't matter how much you changed companies as long as:

1) The principal application meets the requirement of at least one year of continuous full-time employment in their primary NOC and earns enough points from experience (without rounding up) to get at least 67 points.
2) You have accurately filled out all forms including mentioning any gaps in time.

There was not PPR. We have got "landing document" by post. Our consultant said that's the procession by years.
