Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee...

I received email from cic yesterday stated that all per will cancelled who they issued within this year.......they r closing EE AND FSW 2014.....
Especially they mentioned about ur application..that they need only dis man..thats y processing ur app fast.....dnt knw abt others but u r going to get ppr on monday

i think you get get in 10-15 days time else it goes for background checks and MR would take time.

In how many days, can I get MR after

PER - 1+X days Months

and

Second line update - 4+X days/Months

To all applicants who received PER but do not see any status in ECAS, you may have to try to full name in the "surname/family name" field. I waited for two weeks since receiving PER but ECAS could not find my info about my case.

I sent a technical query and got the reply today, that my info was always available in ECAS. As per the reply advise, i am supposed to enter the full name including the middle name in the "surname" field and now I can see my status.

Hopefully others who have received PER recently but no ECAS update can try this way.

... But I still have not heard yet any news from the local visa office.

yes it is normal what you have received is AOR and you file has started being processed now case officer will review your file and rquest for medicals will come AOR TO MEDS time taken approx 45 days

Thank you so much Ashif and everybody ! I am a bit relieved now. I updated some of the details in spreadsheet. Applied on May 13th last year, got PER in Aug, RPRF/MR in Sep, submitted all details in Nov, did not hear much in the past 2 months, but it seems things have picked up steam again.

Hi Goodgreen,
I wanted stamping done in London but my VO was NDVO. Along with the RPRF receipt, PCC etc I sent a cover letter stating that I will be in UK and if I can get stamping done at LVO instead of NDVO. I also raised a CSE. I dod not receive any response but the PPR which I received from NDVO had instructions for PP submission at LVO.
Suggest you also try the same. But please be ready with a plan in case this doesn't work out.
