Guys, im planning to do the landing process by June in Calgary Alberta. I have 2 flight options.
1. MNL-NRT via Philippine Airline and NRT-YYC via Air Canada.
2. MNL-YVR via Philippine Airline and YVR-YYC via West Jet.

i actually prefer option 1 that stops in Japan. Would this be okay or should i choose option 2 which has stop in Vancouver? i heard one "rumor" that we need to do the landing process in Vancouver as the central airport.. Sounds stupid but pls anyone, hep me out..

Thanks
If you choose option 2 you will have to go through immigration in YVR, and if you have the standard single-entry visa that is where your entry will be completed. I don't know if that means you have to announce and complete your landing there or not. Maybe you can ask someone at your VO or CIC or CBSA? If you aren't sure, better not risk it.

Also, there isn't any reason why you have to do your landing in Calgary even if that's where you plan to live. You could do your landing in YVR and then continue to YYC. Better to leave yourself a long layover in that case.

Hi All,

Reposting...

I received MR mail last week and underwent medical test very next day. In my MR mail they request me to send PCC, RPRF and Passport copy. I stayed in Netherlands (NL) for 2 years so I applied for Netherlands PCC and I will receive after 3 weeks.

I am planning to send all the documents after I receive Netherlands PCC.

is it a good idea? or else shall i send all documents expect NL PCC ?

I will send NL PCC separately afterwards.

Thanks in adavnce..
It's only 3 weeks so just wait and send them all at once. There's no advantage to sending some quicker.

Hello everyone...
Congratulation to all who are moving ahead and best wishes who are stuck at some point.
i got email today from London Visa office and they asked to send 4 photos of applicant and all dependants within 45 days as the one i sent is not up to the requirement of CIC. though i sent the photos according to their requirement.
my question is i checked the status of my application online and it still says that we have received your application on 2014-09-15. and no update that the file is transferred to london visa office.
moreover what you guys think how my case is going on? is it speedy, normal or slow? what can i expect once i sent the updated photos?
thanks in advance

please help! Do I have to inform CIC or LO if my spouse became pregnant after MR? in which way this can have impact on my immigration process? does anybody faced the similiar issue? pleeeaaazzz
If you are SURE you can land and be PRESENT in Canada when the baby is born, you can just do nothing and you will give birth to a Canadian citizen. Risky!

On the other hand, if you have a visa in hand (and thus your application is closed) but you have not landed you will lose the visas. The baby will have no visa and no status and cannot be added to the application after the application is closed. You'd have to start over under the immigration programs in place at that time. Don't do this! And don't try to land with a baby who has no visa!

If you land and have PR but the baby is born outside Canada, you will have to apply to sponsor the baby. This can be done but you should try to avoid it.

The final option is to inform the VO, wait for the baby to be born, obtain its passport and other documentation, add it to the application and then continue the application. Your application will be on hold until you can supply the necessary paperwork after your baby's birth.

Good luck.

Hi NDVO applicants

How do we check whether ndvo has received the docs (pcc,mr). I sent it through Bluedart and the only acknowledgement that I got was stamp

Is there any way of checking that the documents have been accepted.

is it compulsory to inform NDVO about your travels to US in between your MR and PPR?? Would that impact when we will submit our passports and VO sees additional travels which they were not informed for??

Thanks

It is hard to believe that CIC wants to finish off the pending files of FSW2014 by routing the files to different VO like Pol who actually still seems to be the slowest and most lethargic VO. I still believe and pray from God that CIC gonna make sooner landing of all of us in Canada
It's like go to tigers cage and thank GOD that I have not

Congrats Man....Just want to check have you got any letter from NDVO in addition to VISA Stamping...

What is the process if I visit Canada with PR visa and stay there for 10 days and come back. After coming back to India, do I need additional documents along with Visa to re-enter....
Please advice

Watal
Do you mean you do your landing and then leave after 10 days?

If you enter Canada by a public conveyance (airplane, ferry, commercial bus, train) you MUST use your PR card to re-enter Canada. You won't have one after just 10 days. If you have someone send it to you in India so you'll have it when you come back, that's fine, but don't try to re-enter without it!

If you enter Canada in a private vehicle you can enter with just your passport and your Confirmation of Permanent Residence papers. So for example you could fly to Seattle, rent a car and drive to Vancouver, or fly to Detroit, rent a car and drive to Toronto, etc. Of course, that assumes you have a visa to enter the USA.

Dear Experts,

1.Once the RPRF receipt is generated, does it need to be sent as it is to CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca since the details (Name, Client DOB, UCI) in the receipt are blank.

2. Do I need to take printout and fill everything and send it to NDVO?

Please advise.

Brothers , if my ecase shows " In process - we received your application on XXXXXX "

does this guarantee ( hopefully ) that I'll receive my PER ?? or there is still possibility for NER ?
do they show in the E-case :" In Process " even if the applicant will get NER ??

I really need your answers and will appreciate your help :)
