Hi,

I just received my PER under NOC 0112 . I am curious to know if there are any possibilities of rejection of an application post the PER email from CIC? If there is any then what could be the reasons.

As it clearly mentions in the PER mail that the local visa office will be taking care of the final decision on the application.

Any experience on response on this question would be appreciated

PER is just 1st acceptance type, At any stage you can be rejected.
Chances are low.

Reasons-

1. Misrepresentation in any form
2. Failed medicals
3. Interview rejection
4. Background/Security/Criminality failure

As a thumb rule, if you are a genuine candidate, once you get PER, you are 99% in.

There is nothing which is 100% till it happens.

My PER date is 31 Dec but my eCAS status is still not updated.Only showing In process /Your application revd on10 Sep..also the last update date in eCAS (in foot) is 2014-11-04
Please suggest , ia this normal ?

It is absolutely normal. It might take upto 90 days for 2nd line update.
Generally it happens in 45-60 days.

Hi Diplomatrue thanks for sharing the above information.

What do you think that what is the reason behind the interview call. Do the same officer who reviewied again your file after reaching of file at VO, takes the decision for interview call, and the reason for it is that he is not satisfied with your experience matching with NOC or not? OR what other reasons are there that VO reviewing officer can call for an interview?

Before MR, they do carry out background checks on information provided in application. lot of applicants from Bangladesh are reporting physical verification at work location .. LAso lot of users reporting Linkedin profile checks by anonymous ...also PCC are verified too..
After MR, its security check, mean applicant potential impact of Canadian society.. political involvement, terrorism involvement and the likes..

tri-junction.. i am worrying abt my MR and praying for PPR's of my Fellow friends including yours frnd.. because if PPR's gets piled up then wht will be case to MR's.. just like pouring water into a big tank.. am praying that NDVO become like pipe with continuous flow of Applications..that's it..

I have a 3 year old baby , was wanting to know if the medicals needs to be performed on her as well or its only the adults. Pls clarify?
