You can check with your bank on the dd encashment status. NDVO does not update you anything regarding the RPRF encashment. In case if they are not able to encash they will for sure call or email you.

Don't think it will be an issue if you have 'Immigration Section' written on the envelope.

Hello friends, Today we have recieved Medicals and RPRF payment, Photocopies of Passport to be submitted, happy to see the mail..

Can someone let me know what are the Medical Tests they will be doing?, or if you have any link pls share it..

App received : AUG 1 2014
PER received : NOV 28 2014
ECAS Second line : JAN 20 2015
Medicals Received : JAN 29 2015

I underwent medical exams and for me they did the following tests :-

1. Physical test (Simple BMI test and they ask about past medical history)
2. Chest X- Ray
3. Eye check up (Please take your glasses or Contacts along if you use them)
4. Took Blood and Urine Samples
5. Gave me the Copy of Receipt form.

Dear All,

I have a question on the ECA assessment for spouse. I am the principal applicant and got my ECA done from WES.

My spouse intends to work in Canada. In order to get a job once we land there, is an ECA required for the spouse too?

Request all to throw some light on this.

Most Employers won't ask for your ECA but you can show it on your Resume if you have the ECA with the equivalency. It is an added advantage. So, I would suggest to first try for jobs without the ECA and if it is being extremely difficult for jobs without ECA, you can then apply for ECA. But best thing is to carry all the required documents before you leave India.

Yes My second line was updated on 20th Jan. Received Medicals on 24th Jan. Completed Medicals today

Congratulations you have already received your visa.
And in over a month you got your PPR after MR.
Thats really good. Btw when are you planning to land?

And do you have any idea how long does NDVO takes to encash DD after they receive it?
