Hi Friends..

I am principle applicant and my second line has been updated on Jan 22. The problem is now my wife is 6 week pregnant and she cannot under go X-ray test.
Is there any alternate way to X-ray test ?
or What I can do in this case.

Even i am the same boat bro, Because i have sent my application on Nov-24 and my CC was charged on Jan-20. and now my wife is 5 month pregnant. I think until unless you don`t submit X-Ray test you wife application will be on hold till she complete her X-ray test.

heard that there are other ways for pregnant women to do X-ray test , by using shield method, While will cover the baby and prevent from X-rays.

I think now they will solely focus on PPRs and not MRs because I didnt see anyone getting one today.

NOC 2171, NDVO, 3rd July applicant with PER on 28th Oct.
No news - no 2nd line update, no MR/PCC yet.
No background checks with my employers or references yet.

I had given about 12 different addresses I had lived in in 4 countries for the last 10 years.
Is this delaying my application processing due to background checks in all the countries.

The wait is frustrating and painful; and I am beginning to lose hope as so many of my career and life decisions hinge on my getting Canadian PR.

Is it worth applying for GCMS notes?

I want to know how MR is intimated ie through e-mail or letter?

The reason why I am asking the same is that my second line is updated intimating start of processing of my application since 12-Jan-2015, but I have not received any PER e-mail. I contacted CIC on e-mail and they informed that they sent me letter on my e-mail on 15-Nov-2014 which I have not received till date. I am bit concerned that in future I may also miss e-mail from CIC or NDVO.

I got my UCI on phone.
