Passport received at CIC on 12th.
Tracker activated on 22nd.
Received today.

Can we please STOP trying to dictate what people do in this forum? Unless a comment is offensive/misleading, there is no reason to ask people to stop. If people don't like to read "congratulations" in this forum then may be they should just ignore and move on?

If you have got the Marriage Certificate, the name change is not Important but Details of Your Spouse would need to be updated ASAP.

What about your other documents - did they all have your pervious name on it?

If yes - I wouldn't change it right now since you need to provide more papers to show the changes.

You can always change it later after the PR process when you renew your passport in the future

I got my PER 50 days ago and since then nothing from my VO.
What should I expect next:

Medicals?
Acknowledgement from VO that they received my application from CIO Syndey?
PCC?

Which VO ....LVO or NDVO?

I got my medicals done in Max on Dec 26.... they gave me receipt of fee charged and emedical tracking sheet...
I sent RPRF along with emedical tracking sheet to NDVO but not the receipt of fee...
I am still waiting for my third line update.......
Is the delay due to receipts of fee or something else ?

Even I had only sent my Tracking sheet from Max and RPRF receipt copy only. ( No fee charged receipt) . Got my 3rd line update . 3rd line update will happen for you soon. It has no link to receipt of RPRF or medical fee receipt. I have seen in the forum that in some cases the 3rd line was updated even before the person had sent their medical receipt or paid the RPRF. You will get your line updated soon. Meanwhile you can check with the hospital if any additional test requested or everything is fine.

It appears LVO has closed their shop after sending MRs to jun/oct(per) applicants... From forum of LVO it appears that non of Jul/nov(per) applicant got MR/PCC

Hi,

I filed my application in july and got my file number in november. i am waiting for medical and police verification request.
when should I be expecting a reply from CIO now?
Secondly,I accidently have chosen new delhi as my visa office though i am in canada and could have opted for ottawa. now I just want to know whether CIO will ask me to submit passport in New delhi or they will themself transfer my file to ottawa since i have applied from within canada.
