Medicals done in first half of October, waiting for PPR.

The longer they take to issue the visa, the less time it will be valid for (one year from Medicals date).

oh! that is a long wait....

I personally feel that it varies case by case - maybe the visa officer for some is a more thorough person, taking time. Or maybe for some cases, they do good background verification.

But overall, I'm seeing that the PPR are also coming in same order as applications received. Exceptions are some lucky folks, of course

Patience, that's what I keep telling myself.

What a effective air message, you have sent to chc ,they start sending ppr.

if you forget yesterday send a message for the people like me waiting for the medicals and rprf request.

No Jassi paaji, I didnt forget, exactly at 4.10pm yesterday I went past CHC and dropped in the air message for medicals and RPRF.

Air message for PPR worked wonders it seems

RE-POSTING STORY

Friends,
I would like to tell you story of one of my friends who landed this year he applied in FSW 2013.
• He is Mechanical Engineer and he was targeting for PNG (petroleum and gas) related jobs, so he landed in Alberta.
• PNG sector is down as oil prices have come down and there is recession in this field
• His friend who is also Mechanical Engineer went back to Hyderabad learned programming switched to IT and now working in Vancouver!
• Then I asked do IT jobs are in abundance then he said it's all about your timing and how good you convince interviewer. Also he got job in IT as an entry level programmer 22$/hour.
• As my friend wanted to do job in PNG ONLY , he applied and got reply that industry is DOWN
• His funds dried up he started working in Walmart.
• Started to make local connections while working literally as a labourer.
• Still he did labourer job very well and one of his manager referred him to his Canadian friend.
• Even if he did NOT knew anything in that field only because of reference my friend got job in PNG.
• My friend said there are JOBS in ALL FIELFDS in Canada your first job I mean first decent job in your field is difficult. Once you get first job in your field then its smooth story.
• My friend said even if you do odd jobs do them with full of energy, zeal and enthusiasm, its best way to get connections.
• After 3 months of Walmart job as a labourer he is working smoothly in office 40 hour job now owns his new Car and got settled in Alberta waiting for next BOOM.
• Patience and connections never loose.
• He said his one friend went back while doing labourer job , one friend got job in IT after going to Hyderabad and learning programming language and one guy he knows got job in 2 months after landing.
• He said every one has to struggle some struggle more some less and these struggling days are memory because after that SMOOTH ride same as its in INDIA.

My contract will end on 31st Jan 2015, and I have already told that i will not renew my contract. So, NDVO have only 7 working days to give PPR to me. but there are many may applicants waiting for the saME...will I get PPR before my contract ends??"?

Once you land canada > when u will apply for your SIN > there is a whole department for new comers in the same building/office where they can guide you for FREE / counselling in terms of how to / where to get a desired JOB according to your work profile

WHY pay for this service | Consultants always wants to make money and not careers - mind well 8)

Sorry friend, I fear that you cannot do this for FSW-2014. However, you should try EE now as you have every thing ready with you.
