Guys!

I have a very important question since this will be the basis of my application.

I have worked in following areas:

- Accounting, bookkeeping.
- Taxation
- Accounting systems development
- Payrolls

My wife was a remittances officer in a bank for 4 years. Since people are saying FINANCIAL AUDITORS AND ACCOUNTANTS category fills up really quick, I was thinking maybe my wife could fall in to the category of 1114 - Other financial officers and this category may not fill up so soon.

I could have her as the principal applicant.

Any advice here?

Hi,

Any idea if the NOC2241 "Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians" is hot or not. i.e. does it get filled up very quickly?
I need to still give my IELTS, dont know if I get the cap if I apply by June end.

In my opinion its a mid hot NOC... Will not be filled up very soon as other hot NOC...

I need to get my credentials assessed by WES + a total of 2 weeks to arrange other things I am just on the edge I guess.

- I have done ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and have worked for over 4 years
- My IELTS was 7 (writing) + 7(listening) + 6.5 (reading) + 7.5 (speaking
- I have a brother in Canada too - I think I can claim points for that?

In Checklist: 15. Settlement Funds ; Below are mentioned as proof of funds

current bank certification letter
or evidence of savings balance
or fixed or time deposit statements

My Query:
I have savings account in india with required funds

1. Will the current bank statement (for 6 months) be sufficient ? (as this by itself will be the evidence of balance)
2. Or do i need any additional Bank Certificate to show Canadian equivalent, as the balance will be in indian rupees ?

Your bank statement will show your fund in INR. So you need a Bank Certificate showing your equivalent fund in CAD$

Hi,

Regarding Financial Documents:

Do you need to show the money in your own savings account. For eg, if the money is in my fater in laws account who wishes to sponser us for canada is that acceptable to show his statement with some affidavit.

I also have 2 properties in India in my name, which I intend to sell if we get through the FSW, can this be used to show for the Financial criteria?
The properties have been evaluated by a Goverment certified evaluator.

Ur father-in-law property can not be shown..it should be only for U/spouse...

And the best proof of fund is to show Bank savings (Statement+Cert). I am suggesting u to prepare for that...If u intend to go for FSW...

Hello Seniors, Ashifee and Rawdah,

I have a degree of Civil Engineering but since 4 years I am working as a Software ( in SAP) Engineer in different MNCs. I have calculated my points and they are well enough to qualify, but I have a doubt that in case I am applying in 2173 category I have a education mismatch. I have my ECA and IELTS ready.

Please if you could clear my doubt if it is okay to apply in 2173 category with degree of Civil engineering.

But in ur case, job letters/docs should be strong...U can do that by below...

So dont worry u can proceed without tension...

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).

But now as 2173 is also opened so thought to check with you guys if I can apply to it.

How old do the finances need to be in the account. For eg, can I show 18,000 CAD in the account which are 2 weeks old?

FEW TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION

1. Use all the updated forms going to be listed on CIC website. (wait till 1st May CIC working time for the Application package containing updated Application forms, Instruction guide, Document check list, Fee payment form etc on their website)

2. Read the Instruction guide thoroughly. Fill your forms as per the instruction in Instruction guide.

3. Read the Document check list thorougly. If you are unable to provide any of the requested documentation, include with your application, a written explanation with full details as to why that document is unavailable and any documentation that would support your claim.

4. Choose your appropriate Visa office in Generic form. Remember CIO, Sydney- Nova scotia is not a Visa office.

5. Don't leave any section/box blank in form. If something is not applicable to you then write "N/A" instead of leaving it blank.

6. Question No. 12 a. on Schedule 3 form, the primary NOC is that particular NOC you are eligible in out of the 50 eligible NOCs.

7. Additional Family Information form: In section A of the form, Applicant is mentioned, not Principal Applicant.
Fill two seperate forms for Principal Applicant and spouse. In the first form, Principal Applicant is the Applicant and provide all subsequent details asked in form. In the second form, Spouse is the Applicant and provide all subsequent details asked in form.

8. Get ready with IELTS (for you and your spouse), WES, PCC (PCC can be submitted at later stage also), Proof of funds ( 6 months bank statement, balance certificate) and all other docs mentioned in Document check list.

9. Job experience certificate must also cover job duties matching with your NOC, your designation, Salary, period of employment, working hours etc and should be on the company letter head duly signed by the competent authority with company seal. Also include Appointment letter / Employment contract, Visiting card of the signing authority, Salary pay slips if available.

10. You can use bank draft or credit card but if going for a credit card option, fill the details of credit card correctly on the Fee payment form and don't forget to sign it. You must inform your bank of the upcoming transaction so that your cc payment doesn't get blocked for whatever reason.

11. Before handing over your application to courier, check again if you have included all the updated application forms, photographs and supporting documents as per the document check list.

Dear seniors help me I have got PER under 2263 as i have only 1 and half year experience in that occupation and I also got points for my HR manager experience for more than 6 years my case is still with visa office.Now my HR manager category is in fsw 2014 list.I want to apply in this category as well because it is my current experience and i am more comfortable with it.can i submit another application in this category where as my pevious application remain in process.plz give ur valuable comments. thanks and wish u good luck all.

I got the letter, however it shows amounts in INR... Do i nees to get it update..? Or will this work..? Please suggest...

Pls see the document check list, it is clearly mentioning what CIC require original and what photocopies.

For Reference letters and birth certificate, photocopies is specified in Document checklist.
