Do you have any idea wether it would be a problem or not to enter Canada with both visas issued on my passport but only use the Visitor Visa for now - meaning, I don't do my landing right now.

If you are worried, then why not get the PR visa stamped AFTER coming back from the travel? You don't have PPR yet right?

In any case, if the VO does not cancel your visitor's visa then you can use it. Either way, you would know before travelling whether you can use it or not.

Guys, I need help and advice on this one. Here's my current application timeline:

Application Received at CIO: August 27th 2014
CC Charged: November 21st 2014
PER: December 14th 2014
Medicals Request: December 30th 2014
Medicals Done: January 12th 2015
RPRF E-mail: January 19th 2015

As you can see, my application process was EXTREMELY fast. I even just got a visitor visa for Canada because I have a trip planned to Montreal and Toronto on February 3rd. I'm starting to think I'm going to have to do my landing already.

What I'd like to know is that if I do my landing right away next month, how long will my PR card be valid for? I mean, during the upcoming years until my PR is valid, what is the lenght in period that I have to remain IN Canada. I wasn't expecting having to do my landing so quickly! Please advise! Thank you!

My application was recieved on 27th of October and CC was charged on Dec 31st, I am inland applicant under NOC 2131. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for PER (I hope!) ? It has been more than 10 weeks I have not heard back anything so how do I contact CIC?


One more question, I already have a UCI number with my work permit, is that the same as it will be PRship application?

Does anyone have any update on end of OCTOBER applicants? Anybody here whose payment might have been charged recently?? Mode of payment DD. People from november having DD are being charged these days. Its so depressing.

I'm 9th July applicant, LVO, No MR or Second line yet. Any idea what is happening at LVO. what is the last known date for MR or Second line there.

London visa office is being such a pain the rear. They are still celebrating Xmas.
NDVO visa sends 4-5 MR everyday and LVO not even one.
This is so annoying.
I am 14th July applicant.
They are bloody well sleeping.

The latest case I have seen on spreadsheet getting MR is 17th July.
But since this is MR stage, applications will not be processed first come first serve basis.

If they have asked for the passport bio pages copies according to the definition it is PPR1. Which i got with the MR RPRF so wait for it if you have not got one, if you did then all needs to be done is wait some more for actual passport request...
