Dear Seniors,

I changed my job on 1st December and sent a Case specific enquiry on 10th with my appointment letter and copy of resignation. Just got a no reply e-mail and after that have not received any communication from CIC. Should I expect a revert and will this delay my application???

1. according to this year's trend ndvo will automatically reject your one file, now I don't know which one. may be your file cos it reached after your wife's file and its still late in processing. still ndvo can ask you to take back any one file but I don't know about it and I m not sure. one thing is sure that one file, most probably yours, will get rejected by ndvo. that's my opinion and my guess, I m sure about one file rejection but not sure about which method they will adopt.

2. after PER, fees are not refunded or reversible. u can quote ur uci to ask refund before per, but after per fees are not refunded.

3. I didn't understood what u want to ask in question 3.

4. according to my understandings, if u have lived in one country, no matter in which province or cities or villages, you have to provide one pcc for that country. I can give my example, I live in Karachi......I lived in many different places and for 8 months I spent time in Punjab in Lahore. but I submitted pcc from Karachi only, that also from my current area ( I have been living in 2 3 different areas in khi), so when I applied for pcc, the police did a background checking for me throughout where ever I have stayed and after getting clearance from everywhere, they issued me pCC from my area in khi. I submitted it and it was suffice. I hope and think the same process is in india also. as long as u have lived in india, no matter where ever, just submit pcc from the current address u r living in. or PS near ur current address.

5. copies are not accepted for PCCs, you will have to submit the original PCC. else it can get ur case delayed or even rejected. they demand REAL ORIGINAL PCC. so in future don't even send copies.

I have a query. I have already obtained PR . But due to some personal circumstances I preferably want to move to Canada Permanently after 1.5 years. But I have to activate visa by entering once. If I go to one time for 7 days and come back and apply for PR card and come back.

Then I would not have PR card to go back again, as PR card comes in 8-10 weeks and I can't stay for 8-10 weeks as that will mean I would have to resign from my job which is not a possibilty for me right now.

Does anyone know is there any process there in which I can ask for PR card to be mailed back to India. For example am I allowed to give someone authority letter to carry PR Card from outside canada ? Is anyone aware of such a process or how to tackle this

I got reply from RIH as well of my CSE. I am july 3rd Applicant and single line in ECAS - Waiting for further update from LVO.
Did you get e-mail confirmation from RIH once you have submitted your updated form?
Please keep in touch as our applications are close enough and looks like we both have same visa officer.
Did you order your GCMS ?

My NOC is 1114 my cc charged on 26 nov still no PER very worried .Self calculated points is 67 is this the reason for delay .
Very worried try to call call center many times to ask for UCi no by not get the same as they say they are not authorize to give uci no .
Mail the CIC on 3rd nov got reply your file is in process will notify you in due course of time .what does this mean will i am out of the game.
Very tensed pls guide me what should i do its already 53 days cc got charged but no per.

There is no relation/ significance of the record- that where are u landing....

They will issue ur PR card or other things according to ur written address at the time of application of those cards...

So no need to think much for the port of entry....Even ur port of entry is Toronto, it will not create any issue for ur living on Calgary...

I applied under the category 2281 and I came to know that my DD has been cleared but I haven't got any message from CIC confirming about receiving the payment. The DD got cleared in December. Can anyone please help me telling how long will it take to receive PER ??

No. You cannot say that with surity untill and unless anyone from begining october applicants reports that his application got returned back and the reason mentioned in the cover later was CAP. Till that time you should hope for good. Because CIO sometimes switches back and forth from one NOC to other for somedays. Therefore it might be the case that in coming days they will switch back again to the applications of your NOC.
