How long does the PER mail take now? I think the rush is over as I got my CC encached in 2 moths only! Also shall I prepare the Police Certificate just after the PER mail to save time?

my cc got charged yesterday for fsw, can i still get a NER, am so anxious.

Payment charge means your application is complete, i.e. you have completed all the forms and signed them and you have submitted all the other required docs.
The second step is the eligibility review. The CIO officer will assess your application and will evaluate your score. If you get minimum 67 points then for sure u will get your PER. Otherwise it will be NER.
Hope you get your PER as soon as possible.

Congratulations to all those who have got their PER, MR, RPRF,......

I currently living in UAE but might be moving back to India. Does it make sense in having my file transferred from LVO to NDVO or let it be processed at LVO by updating them of the change. In case the file is transferred to NDVO, will it delay the file processing? Please let me know.

C-check rejection = application returned with explanation letter by ground post (snail mail)
NER = application retained. Explanation letter sent by email (if provided in the first place)

@Diplomatru - if they send intimation about rejection on basis of incomplete documentation via ground post than what's the point of asking to inform if the address mentioned in the application has been changed so that they can send cheque to new address. If the person has already chNged address how l he get intimation about rejection in first place. Thanks for your inputs.

Dear George,

I posted the status of another person, and provided the original poster's link also.

Since 4011 is a near cap NOC, CIC might have wanted to complete the cap and return the remaining files. This makes sense to me. And in the past, we've seen near cap noc apps to get charge/per faster.

PER Received -- 13 Nov

2nd line Update - was able to see in ECAS on 17th and it says "We started processing your application on January 14, 2015"

Dear Members,

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, i recieved PER mail on 15th January. Checked my mail this morning and was surprised to see it, as i was expecting it in a few weeks time. Thanks to one and all for the support and guidance. Have to admit that with the support of this forum members, i got strength to apply on my own and save quite a few bucks by not hiring consultants. My timeline,

Application filed - 15th October 2014
DD Encashed Date - 18th Dec 2014
PER Mail - 15th January 2015.
NOC - 2131
