Can someone answer this:

My friends FSW – 2014 (NOC:2173 – Software Engineers) application ( applied through an agent) got rejected stating that the experience letter do not provide sufficient
evidence that she performed the duties for this NOC. The rejection letter is dated 1st October 2014 and she received her package back approximately by the end of October.

Yesterday her agent calls up again asking for the UCI number (Which was written in the general application form using a pencil by CIC) and documents back stating that he
wants to challenge CIC's rejection decision. Is that really possible? Is it worth giving a try?

Yes, it is worth... they can definitely challenge this..... but show it to a lawyer (immigration) and make sure that he can guarantee ur friend that decision can be overwritten....

Important Question which I hope the group can answer:
1. I was also expecting to get a request for PCC from US/ FBI. I have NOT received this request along with request for medicals. Can I expect to be asked for this document at a later time? Or should I send it to NDVO even though they have not asked for it (I have it ready with me). I'm a bit scared of sending them documents that they have not asked for - in case these do not get properly added to my file or a are misplaced because they were never requested.

2. I've had the full amount of family funds sitting in a saving account. since this is over CAD 22K, can I go ahead and invest it in stocks etc...OR do I need to keep in in my savings account in anticipation that I may be asked for Proof of Funds again?

I dont think so it is because of job offer. I applied on July 11th 2014.

If you need to update your VO about some documents you could write any of those. If it is not the one which is processing your case they will redirect you to the right one. The same happened to me, I though I was Havana but it was Mexico City. Hope this helps.

Definitely send PCC (original, if u have), because, during security criminality checks they may request u... to avoid future delay send the doc now,,,... it does not hurt u because, before medicals are received, they are not gonna look at ur file anyways...


Make sure that u hav POF as available and ready to use, if required in Canada... during landing, there is a very good chance that they ask u for POF... even for inside Canada applicants they are asking... in ur case mostly certain...

Just coming from bank, the DD has not been enchased until 9th January

Really NOC 2132 is a big mess, no idea what's happing. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Dont worry.. I am 6th Oct applicant with 2132 & my DD is not yet en cashed as per Bank.
I suppose there is sudden brake on this NOC but still not out of normal processing time 90-120 days.
