Express Entry Process :


Step 1: Go to the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/candidate.asp and use the online tool to determine eligibility (http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp).

Step 2: Click on check your eligibility and answer all the questions. Once all the questions are answered the results page would inform you whether you are eligible or not. You would be issued a personal reference code which needs to be used while filling the express entry profile. Print the page for your future reference.
The above 2 steps are not mandatory but would save time later.

Step 3: Register / log in to submit your online profile. To apply online, you will need an electronic "key" for secure access.

Login to your account if you are a returning user. Login here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp)

Step 4: Use the GCKey option if you do not have account with the Sign -in - partners.

Step 5: After registering and logging in select the Express Entry

Step 6: Enter the personal reference code you got as part of Step 1 and Step 2.

Step 7: Enter the details as requested.

If you do not have a surname you can use Not Applicable. or N/A. The forms to be submitted are mentioned below.
a) Personal Details
b) Contact Details
c) Study and Languages
d) Application Details
e) Representative
f) Work History
If you have an accompanying spouse you have 3 more forms to fill.
a) Personal Details
b) Study and Languages
c) Work History

Step 8: Complete all the forms and continue.

Step 9: Electronically sign the application and transmit.

Step 10: Log back to your profile and see the application status you can see the total points that have been allocated to you.

Step 11: Sit Back, Relax and wait for Invitation to Apply.

after all above, you should register in Job bank in 30 days, otherwise you will be moved out of pool.

When u dial then press 1+1+1+1+1, at a certain time they'll ask u for ur UCI number, hence don't do anything but wait untill ure connected to a call center agent!.

Fyi, I just got my UCI# too

I had been continually trying to call CIC @ 0016139444000
4 Time my call was connected to an agent, straight away they are saying they do not have access to check my file status and asked me where I had submitted my application is said NS so are saying to drop an email
I have seen many people specifying of getting there UCI no, can u say how is it possible
Did they stopped now or what
4 times connected but got failed

Relax! I got my UCI after trying for 15 days .. Everytime i got a male on the phone and they denied it ! Later after a several attempts i got a female on the call .. She was straight forward and helpful the moment i asked her for the number she asked my details and gave it to me without any further questions .. You need to keep trying and u will get lucky

Thank you for sharing very useful information. Only 1 question of mine is that : I already applied for FSWP 2014 in the field of 2133 and was received on 6 December. Can i apply for Express Entry too? as i didnot get any thing obviously its too early to expect anything now. Your answer will be highly appreciated.

does anybody know how can I take fingerprints through an FBI approved channeler or a third party and tranmit them to FBI.

Unfortunately, I took them at home and they were rejected. FBI said that my fingeprints were not clear. I went to the police station to do fingerprints, they told they do not do this for FBI :'For your information, I lived in USA from 1997 to 2002 and since 2002, I am living in Morocco. I have the Moroccan criminal report ready but I am missing the US one. MY credit card was charged but I have not received PER yet. I want to prepare the FBI criminal report in advance just in case I was asked to provide it later.

:-\ I am lost! Tell me about the best possible way to have FBI fingerprints please. I am running out of time! Please help!

I suggest you use a proper fingerprinting device. You can buy it online.

I tried calling up call center several times but have not been able to get to talk to any agent as the automated system says that there is heavy rush of calls so we cannot connect u to an agent

Surely you should apply in EE also.
you will get more choice.
I have applied EE and SINP today.
Do not expect too much, just try when you have a chance.
