Just Checked my ECAS status which was not updated yesterday evening and now says 2nd line :

Permanent Residence :

1) We received your application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.

2) We started processing your application on December 29, 2014. ..

Hi Rampal,

In my understanding, you should send information to NDVO asap with an apology letter (mention that you were not clear when to send that info) and request to add your spouse to your file. You cannot get your spouse added later because that would be treated as misrepresentation as your marriage date would be before your landing in Canada.

So do it super fast.

Also you can mention that it took time to get marriage certificate which delayed this info.. ( depends upon your marriage certificate date )

Actually I have resigned from previous employer and joined new one.
My Consultant told me to wait for the update from VO as they will confirm new address and then we need to update new offer letter and required documents ?

Can you please suggest me ?

I need an advice from u guys . I have submitted my medicals nd waiting for 3 rd line of update. In proof of funds I have shown Post office FDs nd it has matured yesterday nd now I am thinking of converting it into Bank FD for 4 mnths as I will be needing money at DAT period.
So will der b an issue if I do so as I have shown Post Office FD in POF nd now I will b converting it into Bank FD??

There will be no issue in converting the PO FD to bank FD. If need be they will ask for updated proof of funds and at time u can present bank FD as POF. Chill

Its not an issue.. even if you spend it all.. You have already crossed the stage where they may have asked proof of fund.. Your Meds are done now just wait for the PPR.. and then you would need fund at the time of landing and settling and I have heared that they don't ask POF at that time also but its good to have at that time..

If ur JD matches with that of UR NOC and point is equal to 67 no way of rejection, except other initial papers are OK.
