Thanks Sriram, I am thinking to go to central post office, if I don't find there as well then I will try in customs.. What do u suggest ?

I would suggest you to get in touch with your IELTS vendor - IDP or BC and get a duplicate copy of the transcript. I heard it would take 10 to 15 days for this. Once this is done, you can go to Post Office and Customs. The reason is that you know how the government employees work over here, they will make you run from post to pillar but at the end you mostly will not get what you want.

Better save some time and call your vendor and apply for a copy of IELTS Result Sheet first. It will help you to save some time.

NOoo way... Zero % likelihood. here's why i think so :

-- the person who receives the package is just a messenger level guy.. whereas the person who reviews it is an Officer level guy (may be 5x more qualified than a messenger.. no offences meant to anybody)

-- The VO's day in CIO office : sitting in a cubical... no distraction (may be intercomm/ phone).. only only surrounded by 9" x 12" Packets and Appln papers all over his table, below the chair, under shoes etc etc sometimes pages may be used as tissues ;-)

-- The Messenger's day in CIO office :
9:30am Fedex Truck arrives.. Sir: packets for morning workout .. pls acknowledge !
12:30 pm UPS Mini Van : Starters Packets ... pls sign
1:00 pm DHL Loading Auto : Light Lunch Packets
4:00 pm Aramex/ Purolator Bike : Tee time dip tea packets !

In between some snacks Packets provided by First Flight, Canada Post, TNT etc on their Scooty, bikes etc

If your education is from India, that should be fine. Me and my friend too did not put the transcripts form but got our evaluation done successfully.

What about the missing date..? any idea on what can go wrong..?

I don't think date matters. I don't remember clearly but I think I too got it without date.

Once again thanks for your valuable reply sriram, if u dont mind I have some more doubts, as I mentioned earlier last year 2013 I applied for 2147... which would be better to apply, I mean (2172 or 2281) I am confused as both are similar with my experience.
Comoing to my IELTS I have a photo copy of my of my IELTS report will that be ok if i send photo copy...

I am not very sure about 2281 but 2172 is very hot and is one of the NOC's that gets filled first. If your roles fall under 2281 as well then better go for it.

Regarding IELTS, as per the suggestion I came across in this forum, some of them suggestion to put a photocopy of IELTS and then explain in the cover letter that your application was returned but you did not get it. I am not sure how well it works but this was suggested by some senior members in the forum.
