1. I have got attested documents from university.. but the responsible person said that he has not mentioned any date on the attestation. Is this OK..?

2. Also they have not put in the Academic Records Request Form with university stamp and sign. The cover contains only attested transcript and mark sheets.. Is this OK..?

If your education is from India, that should be fine. Me and my friend too did not put the transcripts form but got our evaluation done successfully.

Thank you for your quick reply obaied, I still did not received my old application, I sent mail almost 3 times but CIC replied that they sent the application... I am afraid because all my documents are in that application including original IELTS and WES report.
I have one more set of WES report but worried of my IElTS :-(

Try to apply for a duplicate copy of IELTS as well. BC and IDP will give you a copy if you give them the reason.

CIC sends your application through Canada Post and while they come to the other country, they mostly stay in Customs and never come out of there. It may be a postage issue or something that we don't know but it never reaches. I think it is the same in India as well, the package is being blocked in Customs and is not send to the addressee.

So better go for a new transcript for IELTS.

I think i also did same mistake. In my application, I have my passport copy as well as all degrees (including secondary certificate that shows all DOB info.).
But i separately showed only a page form my passport as DOB proof. Will CIC will care to look at my application and try to find DOB in these docs or just return the application?

As far as I understand, the Affidavit is provided by Parent (s).. and the person who provides the Affidavit needs to sign in front of Notary Public (technically).

If you are going to get it done from Canada, means you are going to provide a Affidavit of birth yourself ? (I'm not sure what will be matter of your Affidavit and whether Self Affidavit will be accepted by CIO.. pls check with others on the forum before proceeding).

If guys who filed their Application on the 5th of May have got their CC charged on 27th May (CIC has charged after three weeks of filing). And assuming that post 5th May the no of Application would have doubled, can I assume that My application which was FIled with NS on 12th of May would be processed by the 12th of June (four Weeks Max). Seniors what do you guys think???

I am no senior but my file was also received May 12...
base on your analysis I have the same assumption... but I am extending it up to the 3rd week of June... until the 20th...

Can someone please help me with below query :

During initial years of my career(1.2 yrs) I had job title as Software Engineer...which falls under 2173...

Right now I have six years of total experience and work as Test Analyst....Does it affect my experience point calculation? Bcos if I apply as SE I would get 9 points only...
Will I get points for the other experience that I had in testing i.e. around 5 years?

You can contact WES on the help page. Click on the below link and on the top right go to Help.


Type in you query and submit it. WES might take some time to get back to you due to the heavy load of applications they currently have for FSW. There is a phone number as well which I am not able to find it now. They will keep you on hold for 45 mins to an hour if you call them.
