For the last 25 days or so, my mind got bombarded with tons of questions of the "what if.." type. For now, all such worries have got replaced with the soothing pouring of confirmation that my card has been charged by CIC.

Keep hope alive! Again,they might have made an attempt to charge your CC. Can you check that everything is in order with your CC?

In the meantime,can you run through the copy of the application forms with you if you notice any error whatsoever?

I dnt think there would be a issue with my CC. I am in Canada currently and so is my bank.... so i dnt think there are any issues of International tracsactions issues or what so ever.... but still will check.

and yeah Running though application forms is next that i should be doing.

I don't suggest him to do so as he has already submitted his application and it will put him into more stress.... Just stay relax it will be done..... But yes he can check with the bank that they should not refuse any CC payment...

Don't Panic!

Don't assume anything about why you CCs have not been charged. The order in which CCs are charged may not be in the same chronological order in which applications are received at CIC.

Here's my case in point:

Applicants Javiya and Vicky-si from the FSW '13 cycle applied under the same occupation (NOC 0211).

Both, I believe, are Indians as their VO is New Delhi.

Both of their application were received in NS on the same day : 5/28/2013

Vicky-si's application reached CIC earlier (09:42 Am) than Javiya's (11:30 AM)

However, Javiya's fee was encashed two days earlier (08/10/2013) than Vicky-Si's (08/12/2013)

That is probably because Javiya's fee method was CC while Vicky-Si's was probably a DD you ask? No, it is the other way around! Javiya used a DD, while Vicky_Si used a CC.

Moral of the story: we really don't know how CIC processes applications and if it has any pattern with respect to charging applications. SO AVOID ASSUMING ANYTHING ABOUT WHY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN CHARGED YET AND, ABOVE ALL, DON'T PANIC!
