Been waiting patiently for my PER. A friend of mine applied one week after me with the same visa office, and he just got his PER I'm happy for him, but now even more worried. There seems to be no order for how they process things it seems.

PER has nothing to do with the VO since it's sent by CIO. Did you check the SS to see which month is reciving PER email right now? Sorry I can't give you that info, not able to check the SS right now. Follow the link on my signature and update us about your status as soon as you receive news. According to the date on which you received the email 30 days period will be counted it means in these 30 days you and your family medicals should be done irrespective of when doctor sends the documents to CIC its his part of job not yours you will get the receipt from the hospital at the time of medical that you need to send to your VO thats a proof medical done and within time frame aswell

You will get PER in 20 to 30 days window.
Since your CC charged on Dec 10th, may new year bring lot of surprises to you....!
