you just have to fill all necessary forms that will include the child as it is an additional dependant to the principle applicants and kn that your proof of fund money will increase too.

Hi,

My friend received PER on 5th Dec and he resigned on the very same day from his existing Job. He is not intending to get employed and is serving his notice period of two months. Going by the timelines he should receive his MR by February first week (god willing). He will be relieved by his existing company by Feb 15th 2015 and is expected to receive his relieving papers then.

Question is: When does he intimate NDVO? Should he do it straight away or after he completes the relieving formalities?

Looking forward to suggestions!

I would say wait for the formalities to complete as you are supposed to send documentation (Relieving letter etc) related to your friend's previous job. I would wait for other forumites in this situation to respond!

If the documents will be dispatched on 25th of december , then it will be received by CIC in the first week of January 2015 ( Confirmed from all the delivery agents like DHL , FedEx, UPS etc .. And there will be a significant delay due to the holidays ) . Will that be acceptable by CIC , as the IELTS result report will be received on 25th ... please advice ...

you may want to collect the IELTS TRF directly from British Council (or IDP) to eliminate the courier delivery time to your address. call them two working days before the IELTS result date.

Please help sidhurose to sort out his following query

"I applied in Quebec federal skilled worker program in march 2014.n got my file no after 3months nothing else till now then federal skilled worker program opened and I applied in it too n got my federal skilled worker file no after 4months on November 10.when I checked my federal skilled worker application status on CIC site it was showing in process at that time but now its showing we cannot find you. Why? Have they closed my federal skilled worker file? Should I send a closing application to Quebec? If yes how much time will it take to close my Quebec case?"

Have PMed him. Honestly no one will be able to answer this. He needs to get in touch with CIC for this by email or through call centre.
