guys one information required especially from those who have already done with the medicals.

I have today got my medicals, 3 forms, one for me, one for my wife and one for my kid.

each form is in PDF format and having 2 pages. 1st page is full of instructions. 2nd page contains the details.

now I want to ask 2 things.

1. on 1st page of each form, its written that u have to do medicals "with in 30days of the date of this letter", however, there is no date mentioned on any of the 2 pages of this form. also they are calling it a letter, but its a pdf file of two pages. so does it mean the date of email, like I got it today on December 10, so I have 30 days time from December 10? it will be till Jan 9, 2015?YES

2. on 2nd page of file, under the heading Immigration Details, the UCI number and Application number for me is written correctly, it exactly matches with the uci and app no written in my PER email. for my wife and kid, the app no is same but uci number is changed for both. is it something to worry for? in my PER email only one UCI was given to me, no details for my wife or kid UCI. but in form there is a UCI no mentioned for both of them and that is very different from my UCI number. the application no on both of their forms is the same as mine one. so is it fine and normal that they allot different UCI no for dependents?ITS FINE. They create UCI for all dependents for MR, but using the dependents UCI you can't check the ECAS

Hello everyone, I got employed at a place before sending my application,in which I collected letter of reference.but last week our posting came out and I was posted to a place so far from my place,so I want to resign, how can I update cic,my app was received NOV 27.
Please someone shld tell me how to go about it.or I need to wait till I get per?

the delay i believe was due to my eca not made available by me via wes wen i did my evaluation so i go a mail from cic oct abt it so i did the request nov and got the per in dec. actualy the mail i got from cic the per is already inside so i cud log on to their portal b4 the official per mail got to me.

First you didn't need to send reference letter unless you are claiming points for that job experience.
About your second question. If at the time when sending your application you were still working in that place you are fine, just waiting for PER and then update your VO about your job changes.

also guys one more thing, I have to make appointment with IOM Karachi....I m calling on 051 111 416 647 but no one is answering, the computer keeps telling that all operators are busy and will get to you when someone is free but despite waiting for 20 mins no one attends.

its 6:15pm evening now, are they closed now? when should I call to get the appointment?

also computer telling me to email on canmedpk@iom.img to get an appointment......are they sending appointments on emails? or should I call them in morning?

please guide....especially those who went through medicals in Karachi. thanks a lot .

hello i applied as Principal applicant together with my wife as spouse. is there anybody here who have the same situation. im in the Philippines and my spouse is working full time in Canada she is under Working Visa
is that considered arrange employment eventhough im the Principal applicant? and one more are we exempted for the settlement funds thanks for the answers.

Are you sure you can apply PCC before PCC request? Any known person has done it before? Will NDVO accept?

Actually NEITHER !!! My DD was encashed on 20-Nov and I started work on my PCC from India and US(since it takes 3+ months to get PCC from FBI) so that I have the PCC ready by the time I get a request from VO(hopefully in March 2015).

thats good to know george. But i dont want to discourage you. Aramex takes 6-7 days to reach the destination. All posts bound for Canada makes a stop through Colnbrook London where it stays for 2 days and then politely makes its way to the Mississauga Sorting Facility. From there, they hire a local courier which is Purolator Express to deliver your parcel to NS. So an estimate for 6-7 days.

You should have either sent it through TNT or UPS. They are lightening fast

Today I have sent the application to Canada through Aramex Courier service from Qatar.
They confirm that within three to four days the parcel will be delivered to CIO in NS,Canada.
Maximum on Monday 15th of December, 2014 my application parcel will be in the CIO office in Sydney, NS, Canada.

I don't have words to thank everyone who has contributed in this forum and in fact all the comments and even questions raised, answers given, all helped me in one way or the other to complete my application for FSW, successfully in all aspects.

That shouldn't be a problem. Many forum members do their math and start applying for PCC after getting PER. Medicals is a different story but some people have reported undergoing medicals without being request.
