Dear forum friends

This is my first post. I have got information from my bank that my DD was charged on 28th Nov. App details are as -

Application recvd date - Sep 11
Noc- 1123
VO- Delhi

Now awaiting PER.

There are many boxes in the Application Forms which are not applicable to me.

Should I write in all those boxes NOT APPLICABLE. or LEAVE THEM BLANK.

For example, NICK NAME, similarly in another form MILITARY SERVICE, and similarly so many other boxes.

I read, they mentioned do not leave anything blank, if something is not applicable to you write NOT APPLICABLE. in this way there will be many places on form written with NOT APPLICABLE.

No one knows what is going to happen in future so we should not say like that... Just going to tell one story... I was in US couple of years ago and my immediate manager (from Chennai) was saying that he was born little late.. If he would have born little earlier then he would have come to US earlier means during 90's and would have got GC and Citizenship of America... I said that if you are repenting for that then why don't you repent directly that I should have born American...

This waiting is really killing us but we cant do much about it...

My daily route from home to office is through NDVO.. Yes.. You got it right.. I daily see Canadian High Commission board in the morning on the way via Shantipath.. and hope that today they will be working on PPR but.... In the evening every alternate day my wife use to ask when are we going to Canada.. When I got MR then I said that hopefully by end of this year.. But now I use to say don't know but inshallah we will go for sure.... If not then also wherever we will be will live happily.. We just have to try our best and leave rest on Almighty Allah...

+1 for you Bro for posting your emotional story of Desperate eyes towards NDVO for PPR during your daily commute between office and home.....

Response awaited :(

Hi All,

I have a query regarding the Application Rejected and returned because of the Job Duties are not matching with the requirement for that particular NOC. Are those cases already charged by CIC later on rejected or is it before charging during the Completeness Check itself?

Appreciate the response on the same.

Yups, you are right that they require information for last 10 years BUT if they have mentioned, then in my opinion they can ask for. When was your old application dated and what was the date when your last USA PCC was issued? It seems that you have already applied your new application, in my opinion its better to get a new one from FBI which you said will take three months. Its depend upon the mood of Your VO where he/she can ask or he/she may not. Because, you haven't receive any kind of acknowledgement from CIO that they have kept your previous US PCC from old application. Think otherwise, may be it has been lost!!!! Be little pessimist on safer side.

thanks ssbv.. i was thinking the same, but hoping that someone my tell me that i do not need to do it :p. my last pc was issued on sept 2013. and submitted with the app, which reached cic on may 12th. 2014. however, they rejected my app and kept all of the docs. anyway, that pc is over one year old so, it is not valid anymore, anyway. i'm expecting my per late january, but thinking to apply for a new usa pc these days, to be a pessimist on a safer side, as you said. :D
thanks for chat! ;)

Any idea about PPR from NDVO.. When they will start sending out..
I heard VISA is valid for one year from Date of Medical Tests.. They are eating our valuable time...

A permanent resident is someone who has been given permanent resident status by immigrating to Canada, but is not a Canadian citizen. Permanent residents are citizens of other countries.

If you travel outside Canada, the permanent resident card is your proof that you are a permanent resident of Canada. If you leave Canada, you will need this card to re-enter the country on a commercial vehicle, like an airplane, boat, train or bus.

If your permanent resident card expires, it does not mean you have lost permanent resident status.

What you can do

As a permanent resident, you have the right to:

•get most social benefits that Canadian citizens receive, including health care coverage,
•live, work or study anywhere in Canada,
•apply for Canadian citizenship,
•protection under Canadian law and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
You must pay taxes and respect all Canadian laws at the federal, provincial and municipal levels.

What you cannto do

You are not allowed to:

•vote or run for political office,
•hold some jobs that need a high-level security clearance.

When you are a permanent resident, you can live outside of Canada, but must live in Canada for at least two years in a five-year period. If you live outside of Canada for longer, you may lose your permanent resident status.
