Thank you for consideration. However, he wrote me today about process of his application via personal e-mail. I'm not sure, but it seems that he and his application is something real...

Anyway THANK YOU for attention!!!

By the way, are you KharkivOwl at Ukrainian forum or another kind of birds there ;D
Oh. Well, and how is he doing, did he receive any requests? (That person annoys me a little because he talks a lot about the easiest and most straightforward part - diploma verification, but never posts anything really helpful, like the stats or his ECAS updates... There are so few of us, so it's very hard to judge on Kyiv VO's flow. Each new set of data is so precious!)

Yes, I am indeed KharkivOwl ;D I got banned there (yet again - it's like with the rest of Ukraine - you see, I don't exactly fit in ;D ), so for the time being my presence here got expanded a tiny bit ;D

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.

Please do not forward additional documents unless requested.

If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. If your application will be processed through China, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan or the UK, you might receive information and an invitation letter from CIC about free in-person assistance. In order to participate in this service you will require an invitation letter from the CIC mission which will be sent to you during the later stages of the immigration process if you are determined to be eligible for it. You can access information about this free in-person assistance at www.newcomersuccess.ca . Thanks. That's reassuring. Know anything about what all they cover in background check? Do I need to keep sucking up to my employer just so that he doesn't mess it up for me?
As far as I know, Your file will be reviewed again and studied in more depth, and there is a possibility of calling your to attend an interview with the visa officer. Moreover, your employment may be verified (by calling, e-mailing or even visiting the workplace) or may be not. In some cases they may find a lack of information or something unclear in the employment history so they need to know more. Also they may select some files randomly and check them thoroughly.....so it is better to let your employer know about it.
