I want to know, is counting down starts when you finish your medical examination or when they receive your medical receipt with other requested papers.

For example, i finished my medical exam yesterday 4/12/2014, does this mean i will have my 3 line updated with medical received after 11 days if my case as yours.

taking into account, i will send all the requested papers on 15/12/2014

Please help to determine whether I'm eligible to immigrate to Canada, or not.

I have a Syrian passport Sad.
I lived my whole entire life in Jordan.
I have a bachelor's degree in Biomedical engineering.
I have about 3 years of experience as a field service engineer, working on a well known brands of medical devices.
I believe my English skills are good-excellent.
I am still single.
I am 26 years old.
I have no relatives in Canada.
I have no working offer (and I don't know how to get one).

Also please be so kind, and help me to know what path should I take. And for what province should I apply, to have a better chance.

I also have a publication in a well known scientific journal and I don't know if that help.

Of course you are eligible to apply for FSW however you have to try and apply before 31-Dec this year or apply for Express entry next year. In fact, I read an article yesterday how medical technicians are in demand in Canada.

I am sharing few important links that will help you move ahead in the right direction. Start by reading information about the FSW and express entry programs to make a decision if you can meet those timelines to ready your application and whether or not you satisfy all the criterion.

Hope CIC is still busy issuing PER to 15 aug'14 applicants, though no one is coming up n sharing the good news.

hi frnds....for applying PCC from FBI ,ive completed the online cover letter and fingerprint pad....but im not feeling satisfied coz i ddnt get any number to fill in the section "ORI" in FD258 Form. I did fingerprint test from kerala police fingerprint bureau...they said they dont knw wats ORI....pls reply if u hve any information on this....

In the, Supplementary Information – Your travels (IMM 5562) form ... There is no place to sign the document ... Should I sign at the bottom along with the date or leave it as it is ? As it is mentioned in the checklist that you must sign the forms along with the date ... Seniors please advice ...

So, If I am right you took the reference letters for your previous organization in the company letter head and for current company your took it from your ex-MD, which CIC didn't accept?

No the reference letter and the letter from the ex-MD were both for my previous company, since that falls under NOC 2281... He said this was insufficient evidence

My current job is not related to NOC 2281 .. So only gave payslips and agreement signed

want to add spouse and send query, need suggestion on sending query:

1. Whom should I inform about status change ? CIC or LVO
2. What is the email address for intimating marriage
3. How long it takes usually to get a reply
4. When is the ideal time to inform and send query for addition of spouse

My guess is we should be getting our PER sometime in the next 2 weeks. CIC seems to be exceptionally slow in the last couple of weeks.As of yesterday, 15-Aug applicants were reporting they received PER
