NOC Decision
Dear Friends,
I have been a mute spectator to the cooperative awesomeness of this forum for months. It's really quite remarkable how people from all over come together to help realise each other's dreams.
I have a quick question regarding the reference letter for my primary occupation.
The NOC 2011 website describes 2113 (Geoscientists) as rather broadly. The 13 duties listed on their website covers various kinds of Geologists with very distinct and specialised job description. It can not be possible to assimilate all of those into a list of duties for a single Geoscientist. Also, I was a field personnel, which means that I had no office or regular hours of work. I was sent on different locations and assignments each time.
In my case would it be acceptable to simply state that I was a full time employee?
The reference letter I have received from my employer is worded as follows. Could some of you please study and advice.
Thanks and regards - Apoorv

Can someone have a look at the below format for NOC 2113 Reference letter. It is described on the hrdsc website as a very broad occupation covering duties of various kinds of Geoscientists. In fact, only a couple of duties on that list defines distinct job profiles in academic, industrial and environmental geoscience work.
Below is the letter I have received from my employer. Could someone please advise.
