1/ What is your NOC please? 2171
2/ Did your ECAS second line updated before MR request? If so, when YES. They started workin on my app on 25th November 2014
3/ After how many days did you receive MR request if above condition is satisfied. 5 Days. Just God's Grace and May be coz my case was straight fwd. No Dependents, No Foreign Travels and All the Experience in single Multinational company

Someone who has already submitted PCC (specifically from Canada) after PER - Could you please help clarify this?

Do we need a PCC from CANADA if you have stayed for more than 6 months?

As per the CIO guide - 7000:

Police certificates

All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

This would help clarify the doubts in many a minds on this forum!!!

this is correct you need to submit a PCC if you stayed in any country for 6 or more months including US or canada.

Please goto cic website
Goto guide 7000
Then goto gather documents
Then goto police certificates


And then please confirm me what's written over there..

cio guide 7000 doesnt specifically state for those lived in canada more than 6 months
