Hello,

I submitted my application from India on Aug 19 2014 and have not received any communication till date. I have not yet charged in my CC. I AM ANXIOUS. When i filed for NOC 2173 (SOftware engineers and Designers) I did not have a Job offer in hand, now my present company has decided to give me an offer in Canada. Will the Job offer have more weightage on my application. How dod i communicate this to CIC. When can i get some status on my Application. Please hhelp.

you got the JACKPOT. if you have offer letter, just submit it will all other docs as well as you can apply thru express entry after 30 days, so your employer will send you offer from Canada it self and you will get PR in 6 months....

Hi Patel,

If your visa issue date is 13th Nov, it means that VISA STAMPING is done from the date of PPR and not from the MEDICAL RQUESTED...!!

This is something new for me to know....

But expiry date is just one year after medical done...

kind of yes, as the visa issue date is 13th nov and Expiry is 23rd sep 2015. (though i got my Visa and PP only back on 27th )

Visa Issuance an Validity tenor are 2 different things.

Validity of the visa is not linked to its issuance date but to ur medical date (1 year or passport expiry, which ever is earlier. Note that visa can not be issued unless u submit the passport or at least passport submission request is sent.

It was only single PPR issued by NDVO so far. that is too in the month of Nov..almost 13 days back don't know whats being going on...
some one wrote here they are bussy with 2013 cases...if they keep bussy till mid of next year..with 2013 cases.does this mean they wont send PPR for 2014 applicants till the mid of next year ??

One Question:
In your PPR mail, as an option, NDVO gave Ottawa address too to submit passports.
Does it mean that we can stamp visa on PP in any country??? Especially for the people who are living outside India and chose NDVO for processing.

My file got return - Reason " They are not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that I performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupations as described of the NOC 0112"

I request you all to share your experience letter with me. If you could send me the wording you all have mentioned in your experience letter would be highly appreciated!

But when we see 2013 spreadsheet there are no backlogs remaining atleast for NDVO. So I think they must start issuing PPR's very soon.
