Hi All,

Need your prayers and suggestions!

Our application reached on 14th of May, and we have given our card details for application fee submission, however, later on, we came to know that the limit of card is Rs. 100,000/= only. Now, although we have sufficient balance in our account, yet we are hanging on the edge. Currently, the price of dollar is around Rs. 90.50, which makes it around Rs. 100,000/= for me and spouse, but it is continuously fluctuating. If it remain under the limit our CC will be charged, else what will happen!!!

Please suggest a way, how can we avoid return of application.

What you can do is make an upfront payment of say 50,000. This would increase your credit limit and the transaction would process successfully.

Wow, this a serious one and this is why people prefer to just buy a Canadian draft. There's nothing you can do as your application has gone for processing. What you should is request for credit limit increase or pray, really pray that the exchange rate remains in your favor when your CC is charged. Hopefully, when your application scales through to PR stage, you won't make this mistake with your landing fees.
Cheer up, God is with you brother.

Hello SyedAbbas, please contact your credit bank and explain the situation, to raise the credit limit at least temporarily to allow the transaction to go through. I hope bank will consider your request in good terms. Best of Luck, Thanks.

Facing problem with ECA from WES

Hi Seniors,

I am about to receive eca report from WES. My Master degree of 5 years is mistakenly evaluated as 4 yr Canadian Bachelor's degree. However one of my friend with same degree is evaluated last year was given Master's equivalency.

Please suggest what are the possible way out from this ?

Thanks in advance.

Immeidately contact WES to reassess your degree and correct the mistake if you are sure your friend with same degree got a different equivalency.

All the best.

Thanks. Only plain photo copies as mentioned in checklist. Not notarized. If you are attaching any affidavit (for e.g. Affidavit as birth certificate alternative), attach original notarized affidavit. Good luck!

I Guess you can deposit 10000 to 20000 Rs to your credit card which will increase your limit.

Hello Syed,

You have got WRONG Exchange rate .. currently the price of CAD Dollar is Rs. 53.5... and Not 90.5.
Since your limit is Rs. 100,000/-.. it comes to approx 1800CAD$. Your Application fee wud be around 1100CAD$ or (150$ + per kid).. which is well within your CC limits. I don't think you need to do any of the above as suggested. 8)

I think he is not talking abt Indian Rs.

Thanks, htrack; I've talked to my bank, there is restriction from regulatory authority that they can't increase limit of this specific card from PAK Rs. 100,000/=
