Why are 2014 applications pending and EE applicants getting their PR. Does it not make sense to complete 2014 applicant before starting EE? I think there is confusion about CIC, can someone pls explain? Hope CIC won't cancelled all 2014 application at the long run.

2014 applications will not be cancelled.

As the name suggests, the essence of that new program was to expedite the application process. Applications are to be completed within six months. Some applicants have reported receiving their visas within three months.

I am sure the 2014 applications will be completed this year.

I quite share your optimism, but I am a little afraid I have not been able to read any update from CIC on the fsw 2014 for some time now. Communication is always key in programs like this. If you have any official update, kindly share with us here. Thank you

The last communication I received from them was for my re-meds.

You can order you GCMS notes to keep track of what is happening to your file. If you find any anomaly, you can quickly draw their attention to it. I have done same in the past and it has helped correct much and "push" my file. I am optimistic that this year will see the end of the paper applications.

2014 application was meant to be processed in 1 year. This is the 3rd year. What does it take to clear old applicants file? Last year very few if any 2014 applicant received PPR.
VO unnecessarily exposing applicant to irradiation for their own negligence. If they can process application in 3months why keep some applicants for years, does this make sense?

If u ask me.....I will say that while we await fsw 2014....it will be totful to enter ee while u still wait for it...cic is at liberty to cancel any application....all depends on ur how tenacious u are to enter Canada
