Hello everyone, please anybody paid RFPF recently?,what bank and what is the charge?

Good morning,
I paid last week with Diamond VISA card and was charged 199.7

Hello Tenmen. You just need to fund your GTB account and use your naira mastercard to pay (ensure the card is still vaild). The bank will do the conversion once you provide your card details on the payment portal of RPRF. Hope this helps.

Hello Abim I want to know if I must carry raw dollars to GTB or the naira equivalent to raise the draft? I am about to pay the the RPRF ahead of time.

@ijeree

Did you say you got charged 199.7 naira for One Canadian Dollar using the Diamond bank Visa card?

When last week did you do that transaction?

If that is true, then that is not bad at all.

Please confirm.

Thank you.

Congratulations! Now for you to look forward to your pickup mail

Hello House,

I had my PPR on the 8th of March and had our passports sent on the 16th of March. I checked my ECAS on Sunday, 3rd and noticed my status has changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made".

I have not heard anything yet from AVO. What do you advice I do?

Regards

Congratulations luvmuma!

As God Almighty has done it for me so shall He do for the rest of us expecting MR or PPR. KEEP THE FAITH.

He has done what He said He will do! He has done what He alone can do.

My dear forumites, join me in thanking God. I received PPR for me and my spouse few hours ago, 6.35pm to be precise. We were asked for PPR, IMM8 and 2 passport photographs each. God is faithful!

All you expecting one update or the other, hold on to God and be patient. I know it's not easy. But just trust God, because He doesn't start something until He has already finished it. So your journey is already a success. God will do yours in His own time. He makes everything beautiful in His time. Smile :)

If it is for future Canadian employers, it has to contain your supervisor's assessment of your essential and soft skills, as well as your duties and achievements; period of employment is also nice to have, to corroborate the dates in your resume

Hello my people, kindly confirm if the reference letter from previous employer has to state ones duties or ''that you worked there and the number of years''

Congratulations!!!

Very on point re: CIIP / COA sessions... Even though the general orientation session is good, and one gets to form a network with those that attend the session together - whether online or onsite (ours was online via CIIP), the MAP session and report combined with the access to the focal point partners is the real koko... I am currently participating in an online bridging program, and I am pretty confident that we will be able to hit the ground running when we land. All these programs are funded by the Canadian government, and the only cost we have to bear is the cost of time and commitment, so why not take advantage?

Please anyone that has not attended the COA session should try to attend, its a really good programme. I attended yesterday in Lagos and it was really nice and packed with important information. Although most of these info, I ready had a good grasp thanks to the seniors in this house. This place has been a true blessing. God bless @Pipi's husband once again.

I totally agree, it helps to allay the fear of the unknown to a certain extent. I would also encourage that you keep bombarding your focal point partners (fall out of the second session on MAP) with mails as I noticed that they sometimes are slow to respond but they eventually will.

Wishing everyone of us the very best in this journey

The great layorh12, now that you are quarter to senior, you have to share the goodies from COA with us. No knowledge is lost and we appreciate your encouraging others to attend.

I recall mine was held on a conference call back in 2015 via CIIP. I was at work and Pipi was at home while our moderator was in Canada, we hooked up via online conference and had a condensed session for about 2 hours then the MAP session was handled by Pipi and the moderator later on. It was fantastic as it cemented most of the research I had already done and validated the info I had gathered.

Once again, please and please everyone, keep asking questions, gather answers and responses and write them down! It will give you a leg up when you land and firm focus in all you do, cheers :)

Hello Landed Seniors... Been having lots of headache with getting short stay apartment that we can stay upon till we get our apartment. Pls assist with links. (Mississauga Ontario)

Also pls advice on how to go about access to health care (basically Ante natal) for pregnant spouse landing with me in Ontario since health insurance will take 3 months. Health insurance will come before due date. This is making me consider Calgary so bad.

For those that have attended the orientation program, pls share.

Greetings once again.
