A friend of mine that is yet to do medical submitted her original documents when she was asked for further documents 7 months ago and up until now, nothing has happened.

Please how does she collect her documents as she said she needs them for her interview.

Urgent response would be appreciated.
Let her go for the interview with copies of documents submitted. And also let her show them the letter/email from AVO asking for the originals.
The downside is that: maybe they will not offer her the job(if its a job interview) because they will believe that she will soon relocate to canada.......maybe.....dats my thinking as HR personnel

Hi people, Please help me out here o.
I sent police certificates for my husband and I without the forms which captured our fingerprints(black for men and red for women). The police officer had wrongly attached my form to my husband's and his to mine. So she removed the staple pins and handed them over all to us. So I just assumed that only the certificates are the official police clearance certificates. After someone mentioned possible verification of UK PCC by AVO, I recalled the experience and I became uneasy today about the whole PCC thing and I decided to ask someone else in this immigration project who confirmed that I ought to have sent the 2 documents. I received PPR almost a month ago and pick up mail has not been sent.
Is there anyone who has been in this situation and will sending these fingerprint documents along with a cover or apology note bail me out? I hope this won't cause additional delays in issuing our visas.
Thanks....

There's no cause for alarm, a simple note with the finger print forms attached is okay. Just state the finger print forms were erroneously ommited and are now attached for inclusion in your application package. Apology is not required, it is their job to process your application and any inclusions to it.

Pick up mail came in this evening.... Glory be to God. Passport requested on the 25th of February and sent on the 1st of March.

Responding to 4: the customs non-disclosure limit is actually 9,999CAD per person, so a couple can carry 19,998CAD equally split between them. There is actually no limit to the amount you can take, just that you have to declare if it is greater than 9,999CAD per person (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/security-securite/cbcr-dmte/faq-1-eng.html)

Pls as an expectant Ppr applicant, I want recently landed or experienced seniors to advise me on the safest way of carrying proof of funds at point of entry?
1. I heard that bank statements from Nigerian banks are not tenable as pof at point of entry. Is this true or not? At the moment my bank ( GTBank) does not issue travelers check.
2. Is it safe to carry cash especially dollars?
3. Will there be serious challenges or roadblocks especially with our nosy customs officers and immigration officers?
4. Do a couple need to declare (here or in canada)the amount that is being carried even if it's more than 10000usd but is being split between the couple.
I would be glad if anyone can dissect each of these questions as it's causing me a lot of headache of late
Thanks

Yay! That was one long wait... His timing is always best :); congratulations!
