My people greetings to you all, the real race is not just MR and PPR. In my own case the real race has begun, While waiting for PPR I made up my mind to land in Calgary , cos of a lot of reasons especially because I have a family member there to enable us settle in easily, and had already put lots of plans in place, but recent feedbacks from my family member is not encouraging, hence am currently researching on the best alternative. I stumbled on this link and thought to share so everyone of us will be guided on our decisions on where to land. http://www.statcan.gc.ca/daily-quotidien/160205/dq160205a-eng.htm. I encourage everyone to use this waiting period to do more and more research.

The economic outlook spelled out in that article is the simple truth @Christamario. I know how our brave landed peers are soldiering on in the affected provinces but for those coming, do your home work well. It takes more than having a family or friend here to determine where you want to settle. After the landing honeymoon, you must live in the 'marraige' of settling down reality. I wish you all wisdom and the grace of God to plan, cheers.

Dear Seniors,

I got PPR request from AVO yesterday. Our Family configuration has changed. And i just sent the application form for our new Baby to AVO last week and we are yet to get feedback from AVO on her medicals.

Should i proceed to send our passports to AVO and add that of our new born child later OR wait till AVO replies us.

Please advise inview of the 15days window for AVO to receive the passports.

My advice will be go ahead and do your baby's medical, get the result, scan the result, refill the generic form, additional family information form and scan your POF showing that you have enough funds for everyone including your new born, include the body's scan biometric page and send it through email to ACCRAIMMIGRATION@International.gc.ca , gather all the documents mentioned above with all your international passports and send it to AVO through Neyo's UPS, and the rest is left to them.

I hope my advice will help.

Yes o PH, Plans have changed, thank God we have not even bought ticket yet.

Thank you so much Neyobash. It's well appreciated. Yours is on the way. We shall celebrate with u soon. Cheers.

Dguru,

Go ahead and send your passports with a cover mail informing them about your new addition as well as the various means you had exploited in trying to reach AVO.As this was the case with me;i got a phone call exactly aweek after sending them mail to inform them about our expected addition, however, our passports were dispatched a day before their call, they requested if they should return our passports pending on arrival of the baby, I asked that they keep the passports. The summary of the matter is that we got our baby's medicals and eventually passport request.

Hi Guyman1234 and Djdy,

Please I am in the same situation as you guys. I received COA last week Thursday (Mar 3rd) and I am yet to receive my PPR.

I guess it's all an admin issue/error/omission or what have you. I would like to send a courier too but please who should I address the letter to?
I mean the "Dear ..." should it be the case officer who corresponded with me during my MR or who?

Kindly respond ASAP. It will surely end in praise for us all in Jesus Name. Amen.

Congrats to all the recent recipients

Oga PH please I sent you a PM kindly respond. Thank you very much.

@dewasco. The phone number you provided went through but I just left a message on their voicemail. Hopefully things will look up before the week runs out. I'm a similar situation with guyman as well.

@Guyman, its better you send the courier and include the message on your ECAS. Also state that you have sent them a mail through ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and a CSE. You can also call them on the following number +233 (030) 2211521. Not sure if Fax still works though but this is their fax line +233 (030) 2211524. With all options explored i'm sure this week we shall celebrate with you. God bless you
