Hi, CIC expresly requests for original copy of IELTS. I believe someone was able to get a re-issue of the certificate from British Council after much persuasion and begging but I can't remember the fellow's name. It's very difficult but it can be done, what matters is your approach. Perhaps you can print the mails you sent to CIC requesting for the return of your IELTS certificate after they returned your application and take with you to British Council to support your request for a re-issue.

Praise to the most high for His goodness and mercy. After so much pushing forward of departure date , we finally left lagos via Ethiopia airlines on the 4th of dec. and dem carry us waka no be small. it was a fun trip especially for the kids. though slight delay been dey for road which made the flight schedule haphazard and behind schedule. all the delays made us land at Toronto airport late 5th dec by which time our connecting flight to Calgary don dey waka dey go.
I actually saw the difference between residents of this place and visitors first hand. on getting to Toronto airport, the first officer was quite nice just asking for declaration card and types of food stuffs before he usher us in with welcome to Canada. the immigration part took long because we plenty and being a Saturday( I am just guessing here o) the staffs no plenty and the queue long no be small. getting to our turn we were entertained by this nice immigration dude who kept doing high fives with my boys. he asked us to sit for a while and before we knew it he called us to sign and told us we are now PRs My wifey almost wan kneel down there dey praise God but I give am look say make we waka abeg before we disgrace oursef for here.
we knew we had missed our flight and I told he officer who just said we should head to Air Canada office and it would be sorted out and true true dem don de wait for us sef. dem don already rebook us sef. left YYZ for Calgary and landed at Calgary at 4:30 pm. I carry my phone hail technolee straight say I don show oo.
we will be going for all other stuffs today. it is a structured land and I pray that all those awaiting responses from AVO will be speedily attended to.

New Program available at COA



On the 1st of December 2015, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) launched a new joint initiative: Planning for Canada. This ground-breaking partnership builds on years of experience providing pre-arrival support to individuals and families preparing for their move to Canada.



Planning for Canada will equip newcomers with the necessary skills to find work and assist them in making informed settlement decisions. The program will be offered in-person in 12 countries, with the capacity to deliver online services worldwide. Services are available in English and French.



Both CICan and the IOM are recognized leaders in the immigrant-support sector. CICan has been implementing the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) since 2007 while the IOM has been implementing the Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) program since 1998. Collectively, they have served over 115,000 economic and family class immigrants to date.



Funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly CIC), Planning for Canada is a free service that will provide prospective Immigrants with information, tools and vital connections to Canadian partners. The suite of services includes:



• One full-day group orientation session

• Individualized planning sessions

• Referrals to a network of 55 Canadian partner organizations

• Access to specialized online information sessions and workshops

Please I need help my people. I'm submitting my manitoba nomination to CIC this week. I'm not sure if they will accept a notary photocopy of my recent IELTS ? I had used the original copy for FSW 2014, but my application was returned and untill date haven't been able to track it on the post.

Please, I need suggestions my people? ??

Go to british council and show them your second WES report. They will give you another IELTS report. I am not so sure if I paid for mine
