A question keep popping up in my head all the time.

What stopped Accra all of a sudden from processing our applications unlike before?

Am scared this is a tactical move to dump our remaining applications. There is no more excuse. Really none.

@tbaba, from the spreadsheet, can u give us an estatimate of the number of awaiting PR to those that have gotten their visa?

I always like to base my hope on reason. But right now, there's no other reasonable excuse to me than we r being tactically phased out.

Check out NDVO thread, even LVO, they handle more apps than AVO, yet they keep churning out MR and PPR to fsw 2014. Even ppl with October MR Have PPR now. No week goes by without positive news from those people.

What is really happening ?

@Guyman, I can feel your frustrations, but be calm. It will end well, AVO cannot tactically phase us out. They can continue to delay but phasing us out is not an option. As for me, immigrating is more or less a plan B cos I no lie you Naija jagajaga still de sweet me small sef. Focus your attention on something else that excites you and when AVO gets ready for us, you will immediately forget the wait.

I share your fears and concern brotherly. But don't worry, it is my belief that we will be attended to. At least we still have an open file with them that has to be closed abi? There can only be two outcomes, either they give us or not. So allow them to take their time. Maybe they are still within their time line to deliver so they are probably taking their time. Fear not for it will end in praise.

@Guyman1234 is bothered and I understand it. I have taken time to read through a lot of thread that has to do with AVO today and what I have discovered is that the latest round of PPR issued was for folks that had their medicals done 1st- 2nd week in July. At least that is what the majority of the timelines I saw told me. For AVO, I did not see any August MR that has gotten PPR. If my observation is correct, then it likely implies that there is probably a reason why they suddenly halted the process. For me I believe it has to do with EE at least partly, because when I went through the EE forum, peeps still got PPR yesterday from the same AVO. So again, nothing can be done than to pray, hope and wait.

Like I said yesterday, there is life before FSW and there will be life after. I think its better to focus on other things and get busy. Life should not be at a stand still because of AVO oo. My 2 cents.

Friends,i really feel sad at seeing some form of pessimism creeping into this house as a result of the seeming delay by AVO.Think we dont need such at this time.FSW program is a canadian federal government program and not AVO program.AVO is just a VISA office and does not have power to cancel/dump any portion of FSW 2014 applicants. The fact that other VO's are even releasing positive updates tells me that AVO delay is peculiar to ACCRA,which ofcourse will be resolved in due time and we get our updates.

EE is still FSW in electronic form and CIC NOVA SCOTIA has been issuing ITA's since january, almost every two weeks. They still issued "invitation to apply" to several applicants last week 13/11/2015.That shows that FSW is still very much ongoing.Accra might have some peculiar operational issues, which i strongly believe will be resolved soonest.
Nothing has gone bad.If we are looking at ways to speed up the process, its fine but expressing utter pessimism is not good enough.
People, lets remain positive and resolute on this project. It shall surely end in praise in JESUS name. AMEN
