Here are my 2 cents

1. There is only one medical center for MR in Abuja and that is ABUJA CLINICS
2. Yes you will have to book ahead, the tests are conducted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and we found a queue on our test day.
3. If you go early you will get tested and attended to on time, ours lasted from 8.am to 11.am (3hrs, for a family of 4 and we were the first on that day)
4. Yes if you request for your results a print out will be given to you, of cause it does not change anything. A week after the test, I requested for copies and got it.
5. It costs 48k per adult and anything less than that for each dependant child, it is less because children do not under go some tests adults do.

Hope my responses will give you a clearer insight.

Abeg i get a few questions:

1. which is the best medical center for medicals (MR) in Abuja?
2. How is the process like? (as in do you need to book a space first..like a queue)
3. How long does it take to complete the medical examination? (hours,days)
4. do you get a copy for yourself...in case you want?
5. How much does it cost?

I just got email from AVO requesting for these:

‘'- Original offer of employment from XXXXX.

- Bank account statement for the past six months for the account into which your salary is deposited.

-Certificate of Incorporation Memorandum and Articles of Association for XXXXX.''

The fact is that I started work in 2011 Dec. when I came back after my Masters program and later find out that it was not registered with CAC that never bothered me since I am well paid and not unemployed. Because it was not registered, it doesn't pay through bank but pays cash which was also stated in my Offer letter. So the question is: how do I address the issue of the below document request:

1. Certificate of Inc; Memo and Article of Company

2. Salary statement?

My Boss cares less about this. Please Seniors do advice accordingly.

i agree with Pipis husband. trust me that AVO has already done a back ground check and thats why they are asking for your original employment letter. if your offer letter was actually written since 2011 ,note that AVO expects to see an original letter looking old.
2ndly, how does your company do business?how did they open a bank acct?how did they rent an office?how did they contact you?what was written on your employment letter?doesnt your office have a scretary?ask the secretary for some of this detals if she has access to it.
trust me that AVO already knows your story is fishy and thats why they are asking for all these.if your well paid......e.g 500 to 600k so they actually pay you cash , not even cheque?and do you carry the money home or straight to bank deposit(as pipis husband mentioned).
AVO are smart so play smart too as a masters degree holder

Congrats on your MR.

You can pm me I will give you the lady's Contact. Their medicals is from Tuesday to Friday.
You need the MR form and copy of your valid passport (photocopy), and the original.

I will advise you to pay in cash and not the POS, I'm sure you don't want to go through what I went through when my card was declined, yet got debited.

No much people, but you need to get there early, each adult is 30k as at d time I did mine.

I think you will have to explain this in your cover letter to AVO referring to ur offer letter. Swear an affidavit that that you get cash payment etc abt company and also get one or two staff of the company who can do affidavit also on how the company operates. If possible can you get LPO in the company name, take photo of the company signage i.e if you have one. copies of letters, cheques, ID cards for u and other staff etc. Try get anything that can proof the company truly exist and is in operation.
You may also explore drafting a letter which your boss can sign to corroborate your submission.
Try and keep cool so you can easily understand when the right counsel comes. It shall end in praise.
