Congratulations on your MR Sainteben. Do you live in Abuja? Abuja Clinic is the only facility for now that is acredited by CIC in the entire northern Nigeria, the other facilities are in the southern parts (Lagos & PH). So if you wanna use them you will have to go there and get booked. Note: eMedicals are conducted there only on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, and it costs an average of 48k per adult.

I'm sure u're pulling my legs. All d same, time difference may not allow one to be up-to-date with chat trails. And there will be notifications on PM's on my email box. Plus d runs for all the documentations and house and job search.... difficult to be online for so long going through all the pages of chats.

Awaiting d arrival of forumites. Meanwhile, na short-landing I dey do o. I'd soon get back to naija to continue working while searching for opportunities here.

Departed PH Nigeria Monday 7th Sept @ abt 2100 hrs aboard Air France. Landed Toronto @ abt 1600 hrs on Tuesday 8th Sept.

Spent about 2 hrs at the airport for landing formalities largely due to the time spent with immigration processing PR application and Service Canada processing SIN.

Declared cash in excess of $10k and also possession of dried fish. No issues with those. Only got asked the quantity of the dried fish to ensure it wasn't commercial quantity.

No list of accompanying items asked. Only asked if more items would be coming unaccompanied. Told them I would come in with whatever we had left later, and the list as not required any longer.

Took the children for school/class placement assessments yesterday (already booked appointment b4 leaving naija). All went well. Only waiting for us to bring house lease agreement/address to place them in schools.

Bank accounts opened/activated with TD with credit card applications submitted.

House search/inspections continue today.

Been a wonderful experience thus far, though stressful.

If anyone has any questions, pls send PM's as I may not follow the thread on the forum so closely.

It will end in praise for everyone.

Hmmmm, preggy , preggy things. We have discussed this far n wide, up n down. But will use my own research. Oh yes, I am preggy, oh yes I hv done my MR. What made me do it? From write ups even from baby centres, I was informed that the radiation isnt dt much dt can harm a baby. Secondly, the hospital I used gave me a very thick packed shield, that I used, thirdly my girlfriend who had a higher risk preggy did it n her baby had no issues and fourthly I made up my mind to do it n I signed the risk form given to me by the hospital with open eye.

D question: if ure pregnant, will you hv the risk appetite to boldly go n do MR? It is a personal decision.

Thanks mabertia for the enlightenment. I want to ask if pof will still be sent since the only mail sent was just the MR for My wife and I........ And are we suppose to send the receipt via courier or email coz the only address attached to the MR is the p.o box address.please help me with clarification. Thank you

It might not be requested for anymore as was in my case, do just relax and do your medicals. What other docs were you required to send?

Thanks for the swift response McSailor, the only mail I got was just MR and not document requested.and I have been seeing people mentioning immigration officer incharge of their case, but the only mail is just the MR with Accra p.o box account
