"Dear xxx:
We are now completing the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa. It appears that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada in the skilled worker category.

We have determined that you may be ineligible to Canada as a foreign national by virtue of the fact that you do not meet the Financials requirements necessary for a family of 2 (CAD$ 14,853) as outlined in section R76(1)(b) of the Immigration Refuge Protection Act and the Regulations:

The skilled worker must

(i) have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations, an amount equal to one half of the minimum necessary income applicable in respect of the group of persons consisting of the skilled worker and their family members, or

(ii) be awarded points under paragraph 82(2)(a), (b) or (d) for arranged employment, as defined in subsection 82(1), in Canada.

Before we make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to this issue. You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you). Valuations of current property are not acceptable as proof of available funds. You must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds originated. Also send a copy of your bank statement for thepast six months into which your salary is deposited.

For more details please see:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information to us. Please ensure that you quote the application number indicated at the top of this letter on any information you submit.

As stated above, you must provide any additional information within 30 days from the date of this letter. If you choose not to respond with additional information we will make our decision based on the information before us, which may result in the refusal of your application.

We look forward to receiving your additional information.

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada."

Ozone dear, ure very safe. The steady build up of funds in your savings shows that you are very much prepared to relocate.
Just follow d intructions of 6 months statement of savings account plus 6 months of salary. A little professional cover note telling which account is which. And amount built up so far in raediness for relocation. Pls Note , pls dont talk too much. Go straight to the point, as polite and as concise as can be. Rememeber, ure a professional.

Hello Ozone. Pls do not fret on the request. I want you to, however, be mindful of the portion which says you must have an amount equal to one half.... It seems what AVO requires is 150% of the usual amount required for your family size. Pls let your POF be as close to 150% as possible or even more.

I wish you the best.

Hi All,

My first post here.

App received: 3rd Dec, 2014.

PER: 20th Feb, 2015.

SLU (We started processing your application on March 10, 2015): 26th Aug, 2015.

Anxiously awaiting MR.

Best wishes to everyone.

For AVO purpose i think using www.oanda.com or www.xe.com for conversion can be applicable,
However for the purpose of travelling physically, i think N175=1 CAD could be adopted to be on the safe side.

Hi all,

My Lawyer just emailed me that my MR landed this afternoon about 15:58

I was in the category of those asked to bring

(1.)Company Code and registration for the Company I worked for , as well as photos of the company?s office exterior, with logo, and interior.
(2.) Bank statements from showing salary payments from the company worked for.

For those still expecting in that category, yours too will come.

Best Regards.

Silverblade is very correct. The going rate of 175 minimum to 180 if u want to be proactive could be applied. When I paid rprf, it was around 176 per canadian dollar.

Congratulations Mid_Prince, good news
