To God be the glory. PPR arrived for myself and family yesterday August 27th. However I'm having issues paying the RPRF fees online even with a Gt bank MasterCard. Any advise will be much appreciated.

GTB now have a maximum daliy limit of 300usd. You can check with other banks, like Sanbic IBTC said they don't have daily limit but annual limit of 50,000usd.

Congratulations Bbmj on your PPR. You at the finish line. Use other bank cards that have increased limit to pay the RPRF.

@house, when I got my package, my IELTS original result came back with it and five copies each (for myself and spouse) of the passport photograph used to make initial application to CIC Nova scotia.
Is that strange?

congrats..
go to gtbank oyin jolayemi branch and request a bank draft in the said amount in canadian dollars... (oyin joyless ranch is the branch for bank draft and you get it instantly.. however, it take days/weeks if you request from your branch).
send it with PPr documents..

This is due to the new CBN directive, please simply go to your bank with the request and they will do the needful for you

For anybody intrested in using UPS for passport delivery to Accra, I have organised a special discount for people in this forum only. Once you get PPR request let me know so i can direct you to who will attend to you once you get to any UPS outlets. Of course its gonna be easier for people in Lagos to just stroll down to UPS head office in Gbagada for this. This discount applies to PPR only as passport pick up fee is fixed and cannot be discounted.
You will be needing more money when you get to Canada so why not start saving some off courier services now.

COA orientation was very nice yesterday. 'Twas fun and enlightening. With lovely awaiting Canadian families in attendance. Lots to eat n drink. Trainer was down to earth and realistic, having passed through most of what we r facing or would face. Hmm, if u going next, dress covered cos it's a cool room. And also prepare to sit for long, it's strictly 8 - 4, with just short breaks in between. But it's not a too formal setting sha. Quite very interactive. U might jot all ur questions down before u go, but believe u me, the training would cover almost any questions u might have.

They even gave a certificate of attendance. My first Canadian cert lol. Also given usb disk that contains all the website resources u would need. Checked it out yesternight, it's quite loaded tho. Imagine 4gb usb o for just a 15 MB pdf file, hmm very organized country. Hmm what else o ? Don't be late 8am is 8 am. What else again. Any other attendees should add their experience.

wow..Guyman and Ayobunmi...didnt know you guys came too...how come i didnt know na...honestly forum members should try no matter what the work tight schedule is to attend..its a loaded session with all you need to know and how to better prepare for new life in Canada..but na the cold winter months got all of us worked up o ..seeing pictures of the kind masquerade dem dey wear say na clothing...and this kids part were peeing is involved o after dressing them up...it was fun sha....so Canada does not have retirement age..we were made to understand yesterday...Guyman..i sat at the second row in front of the facilitator with my wife...if you remember the Police inner light joke then you wil remember say i dey there life..lol..during the group photoshot na me hold Our country flag na(Canada flag) and demanded Wumi play us the Oh Canada national anthem...come dey pose sef like Harper.

Is that strange?its not strange..its normal..they return any original certificate you included in the initial application and the 6 copies of the passports...nothing to fear bro
