The COA forum was very informative and interactive. It brought out some salient points on the transition to Canadian life. Very well organized and they kept strictly to time. There was enough food and drinks and thee was also coffee and tea (u will need these as the room was kind of cold oh)
The facilitator was on point and she had the experience of moving from Nigeria to Canada so she was very practical and upfront about what and what to expect from our intended move.
Over all it was time well spent as it opens up your mind to somethings that you might not yet know about the country called Canada and the way in which they do things.

Its was just a pity that I could not recognize any of the forumites there yesterday. It would have been nice to put faces to some of the names that we have here. For those that will attend next, I will suggest that an announcement is made so that they can network in person.

Let the rain of PPR begin now and into the new week IJN

Lovely, so u were there. I was sitting immediately behind the projector and laptop. Long sleeved shirt and Jean. Right column, first row. What about you?

Thanks Guys for sharing your experiences..................one thing I picked from your posts is the TEMPERATURE in the room. I think the organizers conditioned the room for a reason......the WEATHER in Canada, we all have to get ready for that as well!

Congrats patrioticanadian n simplebabs...It has ended in praise and It would also end in praise for usall. We re indeed blessed.

Yeah I think I remember u now..

I was sitting on the left... Last seat at the back. Just in front of the lady that gave us the name tags. Was wearing blue short sleeve shirt with brown pants. one of the Albertans. I think u gave me ur seat when we were doing the break out session. I left with my wife during lunch..

COA orientation was very nice yesterday. 'Twas fun and enlightening. With lovely awaiting Canadian families in attendance. Lots to eat n drink. Trainer was down to earth and realistic, having passed through most of what we r facing or would face. Hmm, if u going next, dress covered cos it's a cool room. And also prepare to sit for long, it's strictly 8 - 4, with just short breaks in between. But it's not a too formal setting sha. Quite very interactive. U might jot all ur questions down before u go, but believe u me, the training would cover almost any questions u might have.

They even gave a certificate of attendance. My first Canadian cert lol. Also given usb disk that contains all the website resources u would need. Checked it out yesternight, it's quite loaded tho. Imagine 4gb usb o for just a 15 MB pdf file, hmm very organized country. Hmm what else o ? Don't be late 8am is 8 am. What else again. Any other attendees should add their experience.

Make ppr's drop today o.
Guyman I was there also yesterday with some forum member but did not noticed you. So you are d one sitting next to Mojoyin (MJ)

For anybody intrested in using UPS for passport delivery to Accra, I have organised a special discount for people in this forum only. Once you get PPR request let me know so i can direct you to who will attend to you once you get to any UPS outlets. Of course its gonna be easier for people in Lagos to just stroll down to UPS head office in Gbagada for this. This discount applies to PPR only as passport pick up fee is fixed and cannot be discounted.
You will be needing more money when you get to Canada so why not start saving some off courier services now.

neyobash14,
U have a good heart. Doesn't matter how much the discount is. The spirit is what matters.
Even though I have passed PPR stage, I appreciate your help and the willingness to always help.

Let's keep in touch

Dear all,

To God be the glory. PPR arrived for myself and family yesterday August 27th. However I'm having issues paying the RPRF fees online even with a Gt bank MasterCard. Any advise will be much appreciated.

Thank you
