Dude u gotta be kidding me, you want VFS to scam you? not sure again it is on their website that passport delivery service is 8450 per passport, so if you are a single applicant. you may want to explore them, not a family of 4 like me. i dont even have that sort of cash to throw away. my 2 cents ? use DHL please save the trouble.

Hi guys, this is about PPR.

I can see that everyone who got PPR has / will be using DHL courier. But I think VFS also does passport delivery and pick up. Does anyone have any info on them? And why are we restricting ourselves to DHL only? Even if it seems their price is over the roof?

Please, what do you mean by security checks?

Background checks are done to verify that all documents you submitted are gunuine. It may involve contacting your employer, checking information about you on the internet e.t.c., then security checks done with the local relevant security agencies and Interpol in some cases.

SECURITY CHECKS means passing your name, date of birth etc through series of security databases to see if you have committed a crime, have affiliations with terrorists, it can also include searching your linkedIn , twitter , facebbok accounts to match already supplied information against whatever might pop up. so this also included searches through the US/Canadian immigration databases for prior visa applications, refusal records, arrest records, speeding ticket records etc. it is a robust database. any red flag that pops up must be cleared and investigated in details before they move forward with you. This is simply to make sure that admitting you to the homeland will not pose threat to innocent citizens. does this answer your question?

You are so on point dadabigboy, this explanation should be enough for any questions on security checks.

You can use vfs if you are sending PASSPORT ONLY. If you are requested to include other docs you must use a courier service. If you consider cost then you will have a fair idea of which courier service to use.

Congratulations on your PPR Queen L
