Dear friends,

Praise to God in the highest of heaven.

Our PPR mail breezed in today 5/8/15, although it was dated 3/8/15.

I was given 15 days to submit the passports. I was also advised to use DHL or VFS Ngeria.

Please seniors, how much does it cost to send the passports through either of these companies?

I await your urgent response as always.

Admin, kindly update. Thank you all, we will all rejoice by God's grace.

Congrats Simplebabs and Stainless.

your details updated on the SS. Just use DHL, i think they charge around 28k

I want to sincerely thank all forum members for ur moral support and advice. I secured a MR appointment with IOM in GRA ikeja.
Since my application was paper based, should i raise a CSE that i intend to get married OR i should send an email to them OR I should write a letter to them.
Which is the most appropriate step to take sirs/mas of d house?
Im not aware of an email address that may address such concerns and i also heard that contacting them unnecessarily causes application delay.
As the yoruba adage says, Onibeere koni shi ona.
Kindly respond. Maximum respect to all

Congratulations stainless, it has ended in praise.

Pipis'husband, tbaba, Technolee & other seniors in the house,

Please I have heard that some guys's MRs were delayed. They worry on sentiment that possibly CIC/AVO is tactically denying issuing of MR....& co (and ultimately PR visa) to earlier PR applicants who applied prior to the advent of Express entry category.

Please can this be true? Kindly allay my fears bros '' make efforts & money no go enter bush ooooo...''
Fear not and try as much as possible to be prayerful and positive.
You will get your MR very soon.

Seniors in the house kindly advise on the following concerns:
1. There was a mistake in the date of birth and sex of our new born in the medical request form, how do I address this?
2. Despite the inclusion of an additional dependent, there was no request for updated POF (making a family of 4), could it be that the initial money in the bank statement sufficed? hence no need to be updated and included
3. My wife is the principal applicant but my account statement was presented and based on previous threads on this forum this is not advisable. Nevertheless the Case officer raised no concern about this

Thank you for the anticipated responses and sorry for epistle!
Raise a CSE or better still, proceed with the form and explain to them at the Clinic. they have a way to correct it via eMedical.
Same happened to me and when I raised a CSE, I did not get a response till after 2 weeks. I have gone for the test anyways and I explained by replying the mail of the CO on the steps I took and that the corrected medical form is not required again.
Follow suit and I wish you all the best.

MRs are delayed due to failure to pass a security check.. until clarified MRs will be delayed..

Thanks Hakpoguma for your comments.

I already informed them about the trip and included an appeal letter along with the passport when submitting to them. Unfortunately I can not send anything to them from my Coy as this is confidential business negotiation meeting and it not allowed. But I think i will raise another CSE to them to re-appealing that I need the passport for a trip and attaching my itinerary from BA for the trip. Just wondering how i'm going to Accra without a passport (maybe ecowas travel document will work).

Thanks for your advise

you can travel to accra with an ecowas passport which can be obtain same day at the nearest passport office close to you.. if not then you may need to head to passport office in ikoyi to obtain one.. it cost about 15k though

Congrats Simplebabs.

I actually paid 18,450 without insurance, i think that insurance is a scam jare. when i sent it i did not pay for insurance either. why will an intl courier company be charging me insurance anyway? isnt that duty a fiduciary one? bottom line. i paid 18,450 for pick from accra on 1st august and tracking shows document out for delivery to me. excited *wink*wink*

Hi guys, this is about PPR.

I can see that everyone who got PPR has / will be using DHL courier. But I think VFS also does passport delivery and pick up. Does anyone have any info on them? And why are we restricting ourselves to DHL only? Even if it seems their price is over the roof?
