Good Evening House,
I recieved a mail from AVO this evening; please see part of the mail below,I was required to provide the following:
1. Bank statements from showing salary payments from (XYZ Bank).
2. Proof of funds: you must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds originated. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
My question is, do I respond via email or do I have to send hard copies of these documents to AVO via Courier. Thanks in anticipation of your advise.
Dear Viclay I have responded to your PM.
Congrats on your updates .....
For your response ,there is no first hand rules about this especially with reference to requests made in which local visas office didn't specify their preferred mode of receiving response from applicants .
Personally,i always advice that applicants respond electronically and via courier service to be on the safe side of caution.
There have been couple of applicants who have responded electronically even before they send by courier.....and got further positive updates without bothering to send by courier....and there was no issues till conclusion of their processing.
That been said, this should not form the basis of saying it will always be accepted electronically if applicants sent it like that.
Like I said, explore both options as a parallel form of response.
One thing is sure, you can never go wrong by sending via courier........and yes,it doesn't cost you a dime in sending electronically except the time involved in scanning the documents :D
Cheers

Congrats to everyone that got MR, it shows AVO is running fast again with TV MR.This our forum is indeed a blessing.Despite the fact that we do not know one another, we are still helping ourselves to love forward.kudos to everyone and God bless you

To the Glory of God alone, our MR landed today. its been a fruitful journey and so glad to be at the semi final with a calm assurance and confidence of reaching the final and landing safely and favorable at the destination

To those still waiting, be rest assured that its just a matter of time and effortlessly it will come and not tarry.

Jesus is Lord

Dewasco congratulations on ur MR

A question to the house:

If someone is to be invited for an interview by the AVO, at what point is this done? Before or after MR, if it's before MR, how long notice does one get? Or how far from PER issue date is the invitation to appear for interview given before a MR is issued.

Accra visa office will surely request for it if you did not include it at the submission stage.
Their next communication with you will probably request that you send it with other documents.
Cheers.
