Hello all.. please I am new to this forum and I will firstly like to commend the good work that is going on here.

Kindly help on this issue: I received my PER on Dec. 31st. However, I didn't include my baby's passport data page while submitting our package. This was due to the fact that we were unable to process it in time, in our then county of residence. Again my own passport just expired and I did a new one today... I have my baby's passport as well. Kindly advice on what to do.. should I inform AVO and how?

Ure welkm Bola. Dnt worry evrything wud be fyne. Let us approach ur question this way:

1) Did u have baby after you made the application? If yes, then quickly raise a CSE toAccra visa office informing them of the new addition. They will respnd back to u to fill another 1M008 to include baby's data

2) Did you omit only the biodata page but included baby's details in IM0008 form? If yes, still raise a CSE and attach a cover letter explaining why baby's passport was not available as at d time of application submission. Dont forget to also attach the scan copy of the baby's biodata and birth certificate in the CSE. They would definitely get back to you.

By the grace of Allah I would like to inform you all that we just received your passports back from Abu Dhabi with the Canadian visa stamped. The forum has been very helpful but I would like to say that what I have understood anything happening at the Visa Office is treated individually for all cases but the forum is a way of knowing the trend.

When we received our passport request our ECAs was not updated and was only showing we started processing your case on 26th March 2015 and even the 3rd line was not updated that we received your medical.

So after we sent our passports the 3rd and 4th line was updated same day.

Also we got to know that if your passport expires before your medical date reaches 1 year your landing date is the date your passport expires not one year from medical date. So in our case we did our medical on 12th April 2015 but our deadline to land is 23rd Jan 2016 not 12 April 2016.

We are happy and hope all others waiting will also will also get the good news very soon.

Since you've received PER, it is not an issue at all. In fact your case is a no brainer ... If you've been following this thread, you'd have noticed people with real wahala!!

Simply inform AVO of your new passports using Case Specific Enquiry (CSE). They may not respond to you in writing, but your case file will be updated for sure. Do well to scan and attach copies of the old and new passports.

Hey guys,

After a long and hard ride, I finally arrived MR village today. Phew. It's been a long 5-6months since i left PER.
The gatekeeper asked that i show him
A. Proof that i and my riding companion (Bykergal) are riding together for life (till death do us part)- marriage certificate
B. Proof that I and my riding companion (Bykergal) are hale and hearty.
C. Updated proof that I am not a criminal on the run.
D. Updated Proof that i am not a broke ass.
Hoping to check in on the doctor tomorrow after a good nights rest.

Just a quick review/ throwback of my journey so far:

I rode out from CIC tollgate on the 29th of july 2014
Arrived PER town November 21st 2014
Rode out again and arrived MR village at precisely 1305hrs on the 27th of May 2015.

Would keep you guys posted on how the rest of the journey goes.
