i hope there was more than the exact amount in the card as this could be a reason for a non successful card payment.. on the other hand, use gtbank master card... intact just go look for a way to use GTBANK COS ITS INSTANT

Hello patient people,

Praise the Lord!!!

Great news!!!

This is to inform the house that MER notification and forms for all members of the family arrived today @ 10:34am and 10:36am respectively, with request for the following:

- Medical examination for the entire family. Medical forms will be sent to you via email tomorrow - already received.
- Right of Permanent Residence Fee for you and your spouse.
- Police clearance certificates for you and your spouse from Nigeria
- Hospital birth certificate for your oldest child as well as family photos taken with this child since the time he was born until the present.

One of my boys is in boarding house and his school will be vacating sometime in July - which is more than the 30 days given for the medicals from today. What should I do?

Depending on the appointment date I get from the approved panel physician, should I visit his school (which is outside Lagos) to fetch him for the medicals?

This may even prove difficult, as the school hardly allows parents to take away their children from school, except under medical/life-threatening situations or other terminal situations such as if you are withdrawing your child from school.

Can I apply for extension to the AVO to sometime in August 2015 and can anyone in the house with experience in this area confirm that AVO typically honours such requests?

Meanwhile, the CIC webpage provided on their website for finding approved panel physicians is not loading (by way of dropdown) the list of countries to enable me select 'Nigeria' to determine the approved panel physicians for the medical exams in Lagos, Nigeria.

Can anyone help? Thank you.

Meanwhile, kindly assist to update the excel sheet.

Regards.

Edionwa

Congratulations to you and all others that received good news in the past few days.

Hello People,

Just to let you guys know that I just received my MR mail about 3 minutes ago. I was asked to submit the following:
1. Medical examination for the entire family
2. RPRF Fee
3. Updated Police Clearance Certificate.

No POF and No IM5669E update required.
My Timeline:
Application Sent 16th July 2014
Application Received 22nd July 2014
PER 15th November 2014.

As to the Spreadsheet, I didn't realise I should save the link for future update. If Admin can help update the link, that will be great; Otherwise I can start a fresh entry.
Thanks everyone for your wonderful contributions. I must confess reading the story of others have been quite soothing.

Hello my people, my MR aarived yesterday meanwhile I just had a baby and I notified accra immediately, I was asked to fill IMM0008, additional family form and background form with my baby's travel passport and photograph. These were sent to them and received on the 11th of May but got my MR on the 19th of May without my baby's medical form included.
I've sent a mail to them immediately but I need advice on what to do.
Should I go ahead with my medicals while waiting for my baby's form 'cos I was given 30days OR what do you think?
URGENT PLS!

Hi, yes go ahead and complete your medicals while AVO completes processing and adding your child to your application. You can send a follow up mail to AVO in a day or two as a reminder of your child's pending MR. It's no cause for concern at this point, all the best.

Hi, while this is not regular for AVO it is quite normal with many other VOs like LVO, NDVO and Warsaw. Have nor fear, proceed with what you have and await the nest step.

Dear All,

I have paid my RPRF by online payment using my credit card. I have paid for myself, wife and my 3years old daughter. Now i have received an email from LVO that my daughter's payment (CAD 490) was not required and CIC want to return the money back. They give me a email ID to contact for the claim.
-I just need to confirm whether RPRF payment is not required for kids?
-How to claim the refund?
Please share your knowledge/experience.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, children are not required to pay RPRF, they are covered by that paid by the parents. You can claim the refund by contacting the specific email ID provided to you. All the best.

Hi Ceco. Congrats. I am expecting my MR, PCC and RPRF latest by next week as well. I am a 31-July-201 applicant. God be praised for the avalanche of positive responses from AVO.
